Rude pharmacist. Please try not to treat people differently due to appearance. My wife had an issue here once before, but I told her it was probably just a busy day. “It probably had nothing to do with your appearance,” I told her. Well after today’s experience I’m not so sure anymore. I was browsing near by as my wife waited in line. I wasn’t paying to much attention. I completely forgot about the last incident. My wife is Hispanic and was wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt there were maybe two people in front of her. The line seemed to be moving as expected. I glanced up and saw she was in front and it wouldn’t be much longer. Then after a minute I noticed she was off to the side. More time passed as a different pharmacist started helping the person behind my wife. I start walking over and hear the pharmacist tell my wife that Target had her prescription. My wife says they called and said the prescription was ready at this store. My wife says maybe it is under her maiden name. The pharmacist just looked annoyed. Both pharmacist look at my wife as if she is stupid. The pharmacist look argumentative like she is going to say something else to my wife. I walk up close to my wife the two pharmacist looked shocked that I was with her. I ask my wife, “Did they find it?” Instead of commenting the pharmacist helping my wife then turned around quickly and looked again. This time she found it. She continued to cash us out. She didn’t even apologize for the misunderstanding. Later I asked my wife if she remembered what happened last time and she said pretty much the same thing. Except she drove to Target to try to pick it up. It wasn’t there like they said. The Target said it was at the CVS she was just at. Luckily the Target pharmacist just filled the prescription there.
I realized this review only speaks of the pharmacy. But I’m giving two stars because the nice person in the front of the store at least said hello when we walked in so it’s not fair to give no stars. It was really just two...
Read moreUpdate 2023: The auto-refill system is back to working seamlessly! I haven’t had to call or follow up all year! My faith is restored and rating is back to five star :)
I transferred my prescription to this location when Covid hit. I cannot tell you how much time and energy I have spent just trying to get my prescription refilled every three months. I am on the auto-refill text system, and this always worked seamlessly at the old location that is now closed. Wasted trips after being assured the order was ready, phone calls to find out it hadn't yet been ordered or delivered, asked to wait 20 minutes at pick-up because they were working on it, then finding out they needed to order the medication anyway. I called in yesterday and used the automated system to refill when I hadn't received a follow up text after ten days. By then I was out of the medication. Was told to pick up after 3pm. I purposely waited until today to pick up, only to find out the med had to be ordered?! They are very nice, but that's not working anymore. Each time I explained my frustration they assured me it would never happen again, that the problem was fixed. But it continues to happen with a different excuse each time. They don't seem to be connected to the automated service that sends a text saying when an order will be filled? I should transfer to a new location, but this is closest and I like to have faith in people. At this point it is almost comical.
Update: I raised it a star because I finally had a pharmacist explain the situation. Due to Covid and supply chain shortages it is harder to get certain meds, and this has to be ordered one at a time for me to pick up a three month supply, and it’s not...
Read moreI use this pharmacy when I need something immediately and get my maintenance meds thru the mail. If your medical provider sends multiple prescriptions electronically, CVS will always deny receiving some of them. The same thing happened once again even after having my doctor's nurse call the pharmacy and confirm all three had been received. My advice is to carry a written copy of your prescription and expect a 30 minute delay. Another guy came in while I was waiting and was screaming about their poor service. I had a chance to speak with him on the way out and he said he had problems with meds being promised but not being ready. If you think you can call and speak to a pharmacist ahead of time to avoid these issues, the robo machine will not connect patients to the pharmacist and as I noted earlier- calls from doctors get connected but...
