Creator Delights — Local services in Bolivar

I wanted so much to love this place. It’s very cute inside and has a lot of candy options. But the service was really bad. I waited 17 minutes to pay for two items. The lady in front of me ordered several coffees and drinks is for her kids. It took her a while to order. The girl working the counter went off to make these. She had to leave to check on something else. The line was growing. The girl working the drive through got so excited that someone ordered 10 coffees that she had to call someone on her cell phone to let them know about it. It would have been really nice if the employee at the counter had just asked the lady that had to read the menu to her kids if it was all right to quick take my money. If I had been holding the line up I know I wouldn’t have minded. Even a “sorry for the wait” would have gone a long way toward making me a new customer.

The place has a nice atmosphere and a lot of great candy. The gourmet chocolates are pretty good. I like the s'mores a LOT, but the coated marshmallows with coconut are tasty. I don't think that they are concerned about having a ton of religious items for sale; they just want customers to know that they are a local place with religious values. I have more respect for a business that is open about their faith, but makes money from items that are for everyone. So often, businesses and organizations peddle religion for profit, but do not have a strong moral core.

I do not know the proprietors personally, but the ladies who run the place are always pleasant and cheerful.

Do not go to the south side one anymore. The north side you get great service even through the drive thru. south side uses the excuse that their bell doesn't always work. I have literally had to drive through twice and knock on the window. Even after seeing several girls walk past window standing there gossiping. If your bell doesn't work get it fixed or check your window more often. This was done at 1150am before lunch rush when they should be prepared for more customers. They have literally lost my business many times because no one answers. But I keep trying to go back to give the local...
