This is just what we were looking for. We visited family from out of state, and I wanted to find some Amish goods.
We first stopped at the Amish Trading Post in Osceola. I was very disappointed at that place. It seemed very corporate Amish. Most things at the trading post were distributed through Walnut Creek Foods. I can get that junk online.
This was a local Amish store, with clearly Amish goods that were sourced locally. We picked up a couple large pies for around $8 each, and some other baked goods.

Read moreThis is a must stop spot for my family on our summer vacations at Stockton Lake. We stop by 2-3 times a week when camping for fresh fruits and vegetables, some basic groceries, ice, but ESPECIALLY the baked goods and jams.
Their Friendship Bread, cinnamon rolls, donuts, bread, pies, and everything else make this a must stop destination to satisfy your sweet tooth. Cannot recommend enough. We stopped here while enroute north with our 32 ft travel trailer and stocked up our freezer with breads, pecan sticky buns, farm fresh free range eggs ($3.50 a doz!) homemade jams and jellies and of course an apple pie! We were also fortunate they had some of their homemade butter on hand to sell (you have to ask for it!) . We found their prices to be very reasonable as well.
