Hyatt Regency was a wonderful experience. Take the boat taxi from Hyatt resort marina to Big Hickory Island. The marina is walking distance from the hotel. Just ask the front desk for details and shuttle times. Once your water taxi arrives at the island there is a small walk across part of the island to the beach. Exclusivity prevents the private beach from being overpacked. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided on the island. The island is covered in shells. My visit was very clean and...
