This beach offers a great experience, with a spacious paved parking lot, and residents can enjoy free parking with a beach pass sticker. While the walk from the parking lot to the beach isn't too long, it can feel hot under the sun, especially for older visitors. However, there's a free tram available to take you to the beginning of the beach by the bathrooms. Unfortunately, the tram service that once reached the farthest parking lot has been temporarily suspended due to hurricane damage, but it's still a convenient option for those needing assistance.
Once you pass the bathrooms, a short five-minute walk leads you to a charming wooden boardwalk that brings you directly to the beach. As you reach the end of the boardwalk, the view of the ocean is simply breathtaking, with clear water stretching out before you. The beach is peaceful, and you can enjoy watching various birds along the shore and soaring overhead.
If you head right along the beach, you can walk for about 45 minutes, reaching a more secluded area, as the inner road around the park is currently closed. The sand is incredibly white and soft, and further down the beach, you’ll find a quieter, more tranquil spot away from the crowds.
One thing to note is that there are no food stands or places to buy drinks, so be sure to bring your own snacks and water. There is also no natural shade on the beach, so an umbrella is highly recommended to stay cool while you enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, this beach offers a serene and scenic escape, perfect for a relaxing day...

Read moreAHHHH!!!! THE SWEET LIFE!!! Fun, sun, and the surf! Although it was overcast the day we went to this wonderful beach park, it was 77 degrees and the water was about 74 degrees. After paying the $6 entry fee, we drove into one of the 4 parking lots unloaded and walked the 60 steps to the beach. WOW! White powdery sand, picnic benches, and barbecues, with the soothing sound of the waves crashing gently on the beach as a backdrop. The beaches are clean and the park is well maintained and natural. Enjoy a nice book, a stroll along the beach, playing in the waves, a barbecue in the picnic area, or all of the above. The concession stand in parking lot #4 will even deliver snacks, food, and beverages. Great place to have fun or...
