Placing signs along 421 that read "Boone Sucks" will do nothing to endear you to your neighbors. We were planning to patronize your farm until we saw the distasteful sign you placed on the highway.
I recommend that anyone coming from the Winston area continue driving along 421 another mile or two and you will find Appalachian Christmas Tree Farm, where your visit includes a wagon ride to the tree mountain, and excellent hospitality without denigrating anyone.
UPDATE: My family has lived in the a Boone area since the 1800s as well. We've never stated "Boone sucks", nor do we find it a joke. We are offended by those that do.
