*Update. We were NOT refunded the delivery fee. (Per the store, they do not save credit card information and would have needed to call me for a credit card number to refund me. This has not happened.) Also, feel free to call me on the claim of offering to pay a cleaning fee. While this was stated late in the conversation, it certainly was not an offer/solution from the manager when discussing my frustration.* We purchased items for in home delivery/setup (paid extra) on October 19th. The last item was late and delivered yesterday--which is 18 weeks after order (we were told 12 weeks). After other issues, the delivery came yesterday. The two gentlemen delivering stepped in my brand new home and asked where it would go. I said up the stairs. They proceeded to walk onto my brand new carpet with muddy boots. I asked them to stop and take their boots off, which they responded "we can't for insurance reasons and we can't wear booties" and proceeded to walk into the room they were delivering to. The damage was already done. I scrambled to find any rug and sheet that I could for them to step on, but the mud was already on my carpet. I called into the office and was given to the manager, Grant. I told him that I was disappointed that during my phone calls with delivery, emails and texts--I was not notified that they would not take their boots off and that the delivery drivers got mud on my brand new carpet. His response was "ok", and then silence. Silence. After speaking up and asking if that was the end of what would be done, he proceeded to tell me that all furniture stores do not take their shoes off. He said that the drivers are supposed to do what they can to clean off their shoes. My disappointment in the drivers getting mud on my carpet quickly turned into frustration with the managers non-response to my call. (I understand if taking shoes off is not possible/is a liability. What I don't understand is not being notified, drivers plainly wearing wet/muddy boots and visibly getting my carpet dirty and the disregard to my call by the manager.)

My boyfriend and I chose Redekers to purchase our first mattress together for our new apartment. Our experience couldn’t have gone any better!! Tommy was our salesman and was so informative and helpful the entire time (and was SO patient as we tried out mattresses for over an hour- seriously, he was a saint). We struck gold finding our dream mattress on a major sale for $500. We also found an amazing headboard and bunkie board combo that looks beautiful with it. We struck complete gold!!! We are just thrilled with our mattress and love how it matches the grey neutral tones of our new place. The movers who set up our bed were very professional and friendly as well. Excellent customer service, the highest quality furniture you can get in the state of Iowa. I truly cannot recommend Redekers enough!

5 years ago I moved into a house and had to furnish it. I went to Redekers and I was met by Richard , my salesman. He was so helpful in making sure I had what I needed - I went back a second time and again he helped. He has gone Above and Beyond what a typical salesperson would do - In my Opinion. Fast forward 5 years and I moved to Florida. I’m that move the movers split a leg on my dining table and I was Crushed!! I called Redekers - Richard is still there, Thank God! He pulled up my file - saw what table I had and made a call to the manufacturer and he is actually able to replace the leg for me!! I don’t have to get a new dining set! I am SO Happy and SO Thankful to Richard for all his help! I would recommend Redekers and Richard to anyone looking for quality products & caring salespeople.

I wish there was a way to leave 2 separate reviews. On one end- I'd give 5 stars.. possibly. They had a kitchen table that was exactly what we were looking for and it's IN STOCK. Complete shocker for us. A little upset about the price for such a small table and chairs- and the fact that none are sold as a set like most furniture stores. Paid way over a price I'd normally be comfortable with but we really liked it and have looked for months now for the size and style we want.

Now for the bad. We ordered a couch in December and we're told that it would be delivered to us the first week of January. Awesome. We just bought a home and don't have the furniture to fill it. January comes and no call. So we follow up and we're told that it won't be in until the end of February/early March. It's getting closer so we decide we better call again because we've been waiting so long. NOW we are told the place that makes the couch doesn't even have the fabric to make it and the FABRIC won't even be in until March. Only offered to cancel our order. Most places are 4-6 weeks out. Some longer- and we get that. We chose this couch because of the time frame we were quoted and the need to have furniture in our new home. Now our house is mostly furnished but we have nothing to sit on and it sounds like we won't for months longer. It seems that nothing is straight forward and now it's been so long- we would be back at square one if we canceled. Still highly considering looking g for an alternative because I don't trust that we'll even get our couch this year.

The prices are high because the quality is great. I get that.. but if I'm going to pay money on quality furniture- I'd also like to know when I'll get it when making the decision to fork over the money. Happy to take your money but get easily disgruntled when you ask where your furniture is. Our sales guy couldn't even be bothered on Saturday when we xalled. It was 4:45p and he said he was helping a customer and didn't have the time to look and would call us on Monday. I realize you close at 5- but the customer in front of you is not your ONLY customer. I hope they bought something because this sale may likely be canceled in the...

I bought a bedroom set and a kitchen island from them. When the furniture was delivered the driver told me they found that the dresser back had been damaged and had a large hole in it. I knew they had no more so I accepted it and was told that service would be out to repair it. I got a call on Monday from a person named Becky who said the same thing. I called back on Saturday since no one called to schedule the repair. I was told they had to order it from the factory and it takes a couple weeks. This is a fiber board back and a full sheet costs $6.48 at Lowe's. They said they had to order it anyway from the factory. I got a message today (Monday) from Becky's supervisor who said it had to come from the factory so the stain color would match. The back was not stained or special, it was the brown fiber board they sell and use for furniture backs. I fixed it myself and have no need for customer service people that do not listen. The sales person, Lee was great to work with for the purchase. I would have bought more from here in the future and the delivery guys were great. Customer service is poor to...
