Wow. Just...wow. Beware of the rude old lady employee at pick up. I recently switched to Brookshires Pick up instead of Walmart to see if its better for our family.
The first time, I got a text that our order was ready early so I went to get it. The lady seemed irritated that I came earlier than my time. I understand but why I am getting a text then so early? Telling me to get it when I'm ready? So ok, wont do it again. Sorry lady.
This morning I had my daughters 9am appointment and usually they take forever so I set up two pick up orders from 2 different stores for this morning to get after the appt since I dont have a car right now. Borrowing one. Both pick up orders were for 10-11am. The appointment was out earlier than expected and Sam's is always ready 15 min early and I had no trouble. I drive slow to brookshires...making sure I am as close to 10 as possible (I also got a text at 9:30 that the order was ready but I didnt want to upset the old lady) so I drive slower, I get there 2-3 minutes BEFORE 10 and the sliding doors open and I hear the lady say "ugh shes EARLY?!" Like...ok great. So I get out of the car to not inconvenience her to get my groceries. She says "its just a little bit" holding my bags. Me just being nice, oh! Wow! Okay sweet thank you and I take the bags to put into my car. She didnt even wait for the sliding doors to be shut all the way to yell "surprised?!" In a sarcastic tone. That I was surprised to have 2 bags of groceries? Who knows. Sorry I made the order at midnight and I am always surprised when I spend $88 on two small bags of groceries. Lol
Anyways, apparently, dont piss off this lady. Screw pick up. I hate shopping in the store. Maybe itll be worth paying for...
Read moreI am in disbelief of how I was treated this evening at this store !!! I am a regular customer . Yesterday I purchased some outdoor plants from the sidewalk sale . I decided to go back today and get two more if they were still there , as I walked inside , the florist , Candy had put them in a shopping cart inside the floral dept. I asked if they were to be marked down or what was her plan because I wanted to purchase the two crepe Myrtle’s in the buggy . She said that she would have to ask the manager and she did not know where they were at the moment . I told her ok and that I could come back later . Again I said I wanted to buy two of the plants . I called back around 4 pm and spoke with Candy again and she told me that she had not asked the manager but she would in a few minutes. She told me she would be there until 5 pm . I told het that I would be right there . At 4:25 I walked in the door to find her gone and no plants. I asked the produce clerk about them , he said she had gone home and threw the plants in the trash !!!!! I went to the managers and told them my situation . They searched for the plants and they were no where to be found . I can’t believe she would lie to me and throw away two carts full of good plants!!!! I told the manger that I was a good customer and would not be back which she...
Read moreIn retail, a customer pays your salary. A customer should never be considered an inconvenience. I stopped by the Brookeshire’s on Airline to purchase my dinner for the evening and pick up a few items. I usually visit this location at least twice a week. As I’m checking out the chicken that I was purchasing did not have a barcode on it, and when I asked the lady who was assisting the self check out if she could find out how much it was, she stated “i’m sorry I cant leave my section. If you want to, you can go get another package.” Seeing as I don’t work there and am not responsible for pricing the products they sell I declined. Why should the customer have to walk back to the meat department after working all day because one of your associates failed to do their job. As a retail general manager myself, the correct course of action would’ve been for her to have call someone to assist in the meat department or a supervisor to go find out the price. So I had her return all the items I purchased to cook my dinner tonight. As I walked out, she said “really sorry about that”. No you’re not. No you’re not! If you were, you would’ve done something to take care of the customer. Customer service is just null and void these days. Total waste of my time! I guess I’ll go back to the Benton,La store location...
