Cascata staff is not welcoming. Party of 9 from Faith Christian Church locals we were. Sunday June 15 2019. One of our party called to make a reservation and no one answered the phone. When we arrived all 9 of us we were scolded. ' No denim is allowed at all! Per the person who brought our menus. Three of us were business casual dressed. We were the Only paying customers in the whole restaurant. The only customers in the restaurant that last Sunday. The food moderate! It is 102 degrees in June here. Boulder City Nevada. Near Hoover Dam. They take reservations only on certain days of the week. You are welcomed better said the staff member if you decide to play a round of golf. That's 150$ a day! The whole place is very beautiful. But completely empty. So I was happy to go there with our Church friends. Insulted at the lack of class The Restaurant showed. Good luck with other Local patrons of Boulder City Nevada. Today posted. June 22. 19. Friday night. 12:04

The journey to Cascata begins the way all luxury golf experiences should: watching a 55-year-old man have a full-blown meltdown at the Avis rental counter because his precious Malibu was tragically unavailable. I, being a man of culture and practicality, hopped into a Suburban and took the 25-minute cruise to what I can only describe as Augusta’s hotter, wilder cousin.

As you roll through the massive gates, the desert parts like a holy vision and reveals Cascata in all her glory. You’re greeted with a locker bearing your name, an honor typically reserved for pro athletes and mildly successful Instagram influencers. This locker, of course, becomes the tomb for your golf shoes and the graveyard of your financial restraint, as you’ll inevitably drop $500 in the pro shop on items you don’t need, but suddenly must have. (Do I need another Cascata-logoed quarter zip? Absolutely. It’s 75 degrees out, but who cares.)

You load up on 12 beers, because hydration is key, and head downstairs past the waterfall running through the clubhouse where your cart awaits. You literally drive out of the clubhouse like you’re being released into Jurassic Park. Somewhere in the distance, a pterodactyl screeches. Or maybe it was just a hawk. Either way, you’re in for a ride.

Warm up? Sure. Swing a few clubs, pretend like you know what you’re doing. And then you’re off, soaring through a course carved into canyons with vistas that make you forget how badly you’re slicing the ball. Wildlife roams freely, and yes, there’s a sweet cave. Legend has it, an old Native woman lived there before being “relocated” during the course’s construction. You know, just normal resort golf stuff.

At the turn, you’re met not with the traditional sad, sweaty hot dog, but with tacos and margaritas. I repeat: tacos. And. Margaritas.

In summary: Cascata is less of a golf course and more of a desert fever dream you’ll want to relive again and again.

Thank you for having us! And thank you Jarred...

The entrance to Cascata Golf Course was absolutely stunning, and the complimentary valet parking made a great first impression. As we entered the clubhouse, we were amazed to see a waterfall flowing inside.

We had booked package deal ,rounds at Rio Secco Golf Club and Cascata Golf club, though the rates were a bit expensive.

Two days before our scheduled round at Cascata, we received an email from them saying that the wind was expected to be very strong on the day we were playing, so they were offering a discount of about 35% per person.

However, we had already paid the full price when we played at Rio Secco two days earlier, so we were wondering if we would still be eligible for the discount.

When we arrived at Cascata on the day of our tee time, we mentioned this to the staff. They took the credit card information we had used and contacted Rio Secco. As a result, everyone in our group refunded the discounted amount.

Going downstairs, we found four golf carts loaded with our clubs already waiting for us indoor. At the practice range, we spotted a peaceful scene of a longhorn sheep resting nearby. During the round, we were treated to tacos and tequila drink, which added a fun and memorable touch.

Unlike other courses in Las Vegas, Cascata offered a spectacular blend of desert and mountain landscapes. There were no houses on the course, allowing us to fully enjoy the golf experience without any distractions. This is a course where having a forecaddie is mandatory and essential, and ours were highly professional.

If I had to point out one downside, it would be that the condition of the greens wasn’t perfect.

However, as soon as I returned from the trip, I found myself enthusiastically recommending this course...
