I am writing this review to show my appreciation for the outstanding customer service provided by JONATHAN ANDERSON, BROOKE FORESTER, DAVID ALLAIN, TONY, and THE MOST AMAZING DETAILER (forgot his name!) With JONATHAN and BROOKES guidance I was able to drive off the lot in my GMC Terrain 3 hours after I arrived. BROOKE was so kind and best of all not pushy! She made me feel comfortable and she was also pretty hilarious! She is def a women of authority over there! JONATHAN was my salesperson. I honestly didn't believe him when he said he had only been at the dealership for 6 months! He was amazing so I can only imagine how great he will be a couple years down the road. His overall personality, professionalism, honesty, and respect was refreshing after dealing with numerous other dealerships around town. When I arrived the car was ready for the test drive and most of the paperwork was ready to go if I decided to buy. When I did decode to buy JONATHAN helped my clean out my trade in which wasn't an easy task because I wasn't prepared to leave that day with a new car so lets just say my trade in was a hot mess. The finance manager DAVID ALLAIN went above and beyond to find a payment I was comfortable with making. The first lender we went with turned out to be not the best fit. After they approved me they still asked for more info a couple days later. DAVID and the dealership owner TONY were not too pleased, so TONY basically told them to screw (nicely) and found another lender who offered me a way better rate which in turn lowered my payment! Shoutout to TONY! The ladies in the registration department were patient and fast! I requested new plates and they were ready to go almost immediately. I was shocked! One last thing...the DETAIL TEAM! I'm not positive of his name but I went into the dealership a few weeks after purchasing the car to tie up some loose ends. While I was there I mentioned to JONATHAN that my windows had water spots that I wasn't able to remove on my own. He told me to pull the car around back so they could take a look. The very nice DETAILER (wish I remembered his name!) said he would get them off for me. I thought to myself there's no way. I already tried numerous times. I didn't think it could be done. As he drove my car into the garage I jokingly said "Hey I wont be mad if you vacuumed too!" Not only did he vacuum he got every water spot off! He didn't have to do any of that because I didn't have an appt. He went above and beyond like the rest of the Nissan of Bourne Crew. I highly recommend Nissan of Bourne! I was there over 2 hours for routine maintenance. At Cape and Islands Kia, I am usually done within an hour and that includes special maintenance requests for things I need special attention given to. I.E.: something broken or not functioning properly.
I had a special request of Battles Nissan and I understand it may have taken longer, but the difference here is I HAD to keep going to the service desk at Battles Nissan for updates. At Cape and Islands Kia...THEY come to me with regular updates and wait time expectations. Telling me how long something takes if it was a special request, and then offering to make another appointment if I can't stay that day. They also offer ride service to and from their dealership if the wait time turns out to be excessive due to the completion of special requests.
I think Battles Nissan needs to be more proactive in having their service associates check in with their waiting customers to appropriately set wait time expectations.
I PURPOSELY scheduled my appointment for the first of the day to be in and out. Two customers who arrived AFTER me were done before me. Perhaps the mechanic working on my vehicle works at a slower pace than others. We are all individuals and do things differently, however, the associates behind the service counter should have been more proactive in keeping me informed.
I have managed banks and major retail department stores the size Walmart. I was also the AVP of the Internal Operations department in the corporate office for the department store chain for several years. Nick Pereira, specifically, is rude, short, condescending, and talks to customers completely differently depending on their gender. Over the last 5 years that I have known him, he has failed to give me paperwork, doesn't explain issues fully, overquotes for work, changes his answers each time I talk with him, and doesn't call when he says he will. I've had to call the dealership multiple times in order to check that a) they had my keys, and b) that they would let me know what was going on. He left me the most unprofessional voicemail on my phone telling me, and I quote, "it's time to trade this thing in," rather than telling me what the issues were, and what the price was.
I keep taking my car to the Bourne Nissan dealership because they are supposed to be the experts on car care and there is supposed to be a Nissan guarantee that they'll look the car over when getting regular maintenance service, but I have to push to make sure that I'm actually getting the service I need, and it's disheartening.
My car has had some major issues, and the front desk is dismissive and rude. I like my car, which is why I've kept it despite major mechanical issues and a transmission failure at 5 years in, but the service I've received with Battles Nissan is appalling. In the past when I've spoken with other staff (notably Ed, the master technician in the shop, who is lovely) the service has been completely different, and that's what kept me coming back. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this has gotten so bad that I will not be returning for any maintenance on my car here because I can't be sure that the repairs and work done on my car are correct, necessary, or done properly.
