Good Morning, Yesterday, 3/26/23, I played the Bowie course with a tee time of 12:36. The starter Tom, told us (a one cartand two cart group to go to the first tee. Once we got to the tee box, the second starter, I believe his name is Mike drove up in his golf cart and starting yelling at us, telling us we were not up yet...even after we explained Tom had sent us up, he continued yelling and berating us for moving to the tee box. Mike's berating, even though he was wrong, continued unabated. Mike spoke to us in the most disrespect full manner, tone and a total disregard for not only us as adults but paying customers. This is not the first time, the second time or the third time I have experience Mike's disrespectful attitude, but I have let it go in the past, but not anymore! This employee needs and attitude adjustment or lose his position! This needs to stop now!!!
Just looked at the previous reviews and this starter's attitude has been mentioned a number of times...time to find a more respectful starter!
Well, the Bowie GM only took a week to respond to my post. I am glad the GM will be using my review as a learning experience for his team....but what was completely absent from his response was the slightest hint of an apology for his employees actions. Very disappointed,...
Read moreHorrible experience. It was my birthday, and my friends and family wanted to take me golfing here for the first time. Unfortunately, one of the workers was extremely rude from the start. I explained that I was new to this and was waiting for a friend to come help us, but instead of being understanding, he kept making snarky remarks and yelling at us to hurry despite the place being completely empty while he sat around talking to other staff. When my friend arrived and helped us get situated, the worker even told him, “Don’t ever do that again,” which made no sense and felt completely uncalled for. If that comment was directed at him for helping us, it was incredibly disrespectful. His behavior was unnecessary and unprofessional, especially considering it was supposed to be a special day. Read moreMy husband and I showed up to the course and attempted to check in but MIKE stopped us and asked us if we had a tee time. We said yes, he proceeded to tell us we called and changed our time and it was only for one person. He was wrong in both accounts. Then we headed inside to check and the gentleman again said our time was incorrect when clearly the mistake was on them. We head outside get the cart and load up. Then they pair us up with another couple, which because of COVID I was not comfortable with. So they were very rude , especially when they say GOLF NOW IS TERRIBLE, but they advertise on it. I lost out on my 18 holes of golf and my thirty two dollars. So asked if I would ever come back, NEVER !! I would give this place zero stars if I could. By the way even indoors nobody was considerate and wearing masks even though Prince George’s County is one of the highest...
