I went in for a trade-in of my 2021 jeep grand Cherokee. They told me they would give me up to 40% above trade in value, I ended up having to argue with them to get the actual trade in value for my car, they took my keys to my car to test drive it, and when I tried to leave on several occasions instead of giving my keys back they sent someone else over. The salesman straight up lied to me and told me that I didnāt qualify for certain vehicles, and then brought me one he said I was qualified for. I asked him how much it could tow, he told me it could tow more than it actually could, but I believed him at the time. And went ahead with the process, he brought me a quote sheet with the final cost for the car, and there were items that clearly said optional, I told him I didnāt want those options I just wanted the car, he told me they werenāt optional even though on the paper it clearly had optional written beside it. I asked for my keys and that I was leaving instead of getting my keys they sent someone else over to me, where I explained that I didnāt want these two options, so he took them off. They charge baseless fees like a delivery fee even though you are picking the car up yourself, they say this is standard but I went to a different dealership and they said thatās strange, they charge a fee to actually do the deal of 500$ itās just crazy unreasonable, I argued with them and got them to lower the fees and that I wasnāt paying the paperwork fee of 500$. I get into finance department and everything goes smoothly except for the fact I tell them I want a molar warranty not the one they are trying to sell me. They refuse to sell me a molar warranty and instead just price match the warranty they were selling me to the molar one. So I leave in my used new vehicle.
Fast forward 4 months down the road when I try and tow the trailer I have my truck isnāt rated to tow it. So I have to get a truck that will actually tow the trailer have. So I go to trade in the vehicle I bought, and realize Iām 15000$ underwater on my truck. And if I want to trade it in I have to pay that down. So I call ourisman to cancel the warranties I purchased when I bought the vehicle, first no one ever answers the phone. Not the receptionist, not the finance department, barely even the sales department. Numerous times they picked up the phone and transferred me to random people who had answering machines that werenāt at the office. The times when I finally did get an answer I talked to a lady in finance who told me what I needed to do to cancel the warranties, but she wasnāt going to do it it was going to have to be the guy who sold it to me Mr Gross. So I send an email to Mr gross with all the information thatās required and he tells me I have to come in and sign some cancellation paperwork, but Iām not in Maryland anymore Iām in a different state. So heās supposed to email it to me he said, ā you should receive it in 5 minutes. And it still hasnāt come. Iāve tried to call back and see what the hold up is, and they transfer me to random people; I called the receptionist desk Boone answer the phone. I called a salesman and ask to speak with a manager and this guy is just plain rude, says thereās no managers there. And asks how can he help. So I explain the situation and he says he will pass a message on to Mr. Gross. Iām so fed up with the whole Parisian team, that I will never buy a jeep, dodge or Chrysler ever again. Jeep has lost my business forever because of the staff at ourisman, and I have purchased 4 jeeps brand vehicles in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 12/28, I had an oil change and 70k mile inspection done on my ā13 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Was told by my service advisor at checkout that everything was fine and advised regarding future service at my next visit.
Approximately 10 miles from the dealership, my vehicle wonāt start and I have it towed back to the dealership. No contact from Ourisman until I call on 12/30 to explain what happened. No further contact until 12/31 when Iām told the battery died. This occurred despite having been recently being inspected as part of the 70k service. Iām advised my car will be ready by noon on 1/3. I receive a call at 4:30p on 1/3 informing me my car is ready after an entire week.
I return to Ourisman on 1/4. I have a coupon so the cashier refers me to the service manager. I discuss what happened with my vehicle and the manager informs me that the service I paid for only includes a āvisual inspectionā of the battery. A woman who I assume is a customer service representative interjects herself to attempt to explain to me that the service I received was completed by the express lube staff who donāt actually test anything. Instead of an apology or trying to right the situation, she blames several things including: the age of my vehicle and that the oil change staff are there to get vehicles in and out. This person then compares my car service with going to the doctor. Specifically, that the doctor doesnāt actually test anything, just performs a visual inspection. She continued this back and forth with me until I ended the conversation.
The manager returns to tell me my adjusted bill is with the cashier and my car will be brought around. After paying, I waited in the service lobby for approximately 10 minutes as the service manager and the customer representative conversed about various topics including how long certain staff members had been working at Ourisman Jeep. As I stood there waiting, neither looked my way. Another advisor sat at the desk eating his lunch and other partially eaten plates were in plain view along with restaurant food bags.
I finally asked the manager and representative to please bring me my car. The representative continued her back and forth with me again until I ended the conversation. When my vehicle was finally delivered, it was covered in ice and debris from being parked under a tree. The interior was in disarray and had been unprotected during the service (no plastic seat cover or paper floor protection).
In short, I would not recommend Ourisman Jeep for service. This is my second negative experience with this dealership. You arenāt getting what you paid for and the customer service is unprofessional. Older vehicles deserve the SAME level of respect that new cars receive when they are in your care. I do not plan to patronize this business...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI brought my vehicle on 5/31/23 I had to take it back to the dealership 6/15/23 because I was getting a message saying performance limited, service fuel system. They told me it was a system update and I picked it up on 6/16/23. I had to turn back around because the same message popped up on the way home and I had to cut across 3 lanes to get over to the side of the road because when that message pops up, itās hard for me to accelerate and then the car stops and I have to cut the car off, open the door just to restart the truck so that I can drive. So I dropped it back off on 6/16/23 I got the vehicle back to the dealership and it did it again. I asked for the two people I was working with, Tony in service and Herbert Ventura in sales so that they can see that the car will not move until itās restarted. Another tech went out there and cut the car off after I asked him not too. From the 16th they had my car until 7/1/23 they kept say they couldnāt duplicate the issue, I get the car back I leave and it still does the same thing. So they tired to trade me out of the car, they wanted me to put down $8000 to trade out of a vehicle(2023 Jeep Compass) thatās defective and unsafe to drive. It got back to me that they could have unwinded the deal before for my first payment was due(6/30/23) and put me in another vehicle but the manager Herbert Ventura on the sales team was waiting for the deal to be funded so they could get more money out of me and the other manager Mannie knew about it and didnāt try to stop him. Also, my vehicle is still at the dealership because all of a sudden they can have the issue duplicated, how convenient that after my first payment was due. First the told me it was the gas I was putting in it, then they said it was the 02 sensor, that didnāt work so now they are trying something else. This has been one of the shadiest dealerships I have ever been to. This is not a dealership you want to visit and buy a vehicle because they will screw you over, especially Herbert Ventura. He tried to act like he was helping me out, but he was plotting on getting more money out of me. If heās a representation of the company, save your money and go else where. That is bad business and I will be getting a lawyer involved. This couldāve been settled more than a month ago. I called multiple and went up there to speak to the GM, he was never available to speak to me, so I feel like heās part of the problem as well. Me not having my vehicle has effected me financially, but the dealership doesnāt seen to care. All they keep saying itās covered under warranty. But can fix the issue. I have added pictures and I have videos of the car stalling when I hit...
