Terrible experience that keeps on going. List of events below.
June 26th 2021 - Purchased bed set. Was told around 8 weeks delivery. Ok, totally get it, supply chain issues in every industry right now, completely understand
Sept 13th 2021 - Scheduled delivery. Only brings the dressers, did not have the bed yet because of more supply chain issues. Ok totally get it, still being patient, stuff happens.
Oct 16th 2021 - Scheduled delivery for remaining bed pieces, but did not have the hardware for the bed. Now it is getting ridiculous. Told by the store they would be coming back on Oct 23rd - no call, no show. Also was told I would get a call back from a manager. No call.
Oct 26th 2021 - Called to tell them that we still did not have everything we needed and no one showed up. The store we ordered from and the distribution center are not on the same page, each tells me to call the other. Ended up scheduling for them to come back on Oct 30th.
Oct 30th 2021 - Delivered hardware for the bed, but did not put bed together correctly. They insisted the bed slats that came with the bed were not needed, so they used our old box springs. The bed now sits about 4 feet high because this bed was not made for box springs, it is made for the bed slats that came with it. We have the bet slats and hardware with the slats, but no instructions. We PAID for delivery and assembly, but after 4 months of going back and forth it is still not complete. No call from any manager, no refund of any kind. This has been one of the worst experience dealing with any company that I have ever had in my life.
I normally don't write bad reviews, and usually just work it out with the company if anything is wrong because mistakes happen. But I have not received any call from them or any attempt to rectify...
Read moreRequested that all my couch pieces stay wrapped in manufacture wrapping so that I could have them protected for the drive home. One corner piece of my sectional couch was unwrapped and you could clearly see that the dust cover underneath had been repaired. I asked them if anything was wrong with the piece and they said it was absolutely brand new. This was a false hood. This piece was damaged and repaired. After getting the piece home it was making lots of creaking and popping noises like something was wrong with the wood frame. I carefully removed some of the Staples on the repaired dust cover that they said was fixed due to a tear. I discovered that the piece had been repaired. Immediately within 1 hour of having the piece. I called to get a replacement and it took me 4 days and about 15 calls and two trips back to the store to finally get someone to approve a new piece to be delivered. They just wanted to do another repair. I explained to them that I spent $3,600 on a couch that was new, not a repaired couch. I did not sign for it upon pickup because of this piece not being wrapped and looking like it had been repaired. I think that is the only thing that saved me from not being forced to keep this broken piece. Obviously the store and sales rep and managers at the store. We're trying to do everything they could from their end but it was kind of out of their hands. Very disappointed that three people at the warehouse told me the piece was brand new. This...
Read moreI purchased 2 chairs and when we opened the box it smelled like a chemical factory and gave my wife asthma. We arranged an exchange and I took the chairs back. I am guessing that it was the warehouse manager that spoke with us and called the regional manager who stated we can't exchange them if they aren't in the same condition they were purchased in. The chairs were a bit damp from the snow but the warehouse manager told his regional manager that they were soaked and not returnable without even looking at the chairs. Now I'm stuck with 2 chairs that give my wife asthma and are unusable due to this for another week. I took them back home, dried them with a towel and they weren't wet at all. I cannot see myself recommending Ashley furniture to anyone given my most recent experiences.
