Tayvin Gardens is my DREAM WEDDING VENUE!!! It is like nothing else I have ever seen! The gardens, the stone work, the fireplace, the chandeliers, everything was just done so well and so perfect! I found Tayvin Gardens on the knot, before they even had a website, and truly thought it was too good to be true! We booked a tour immediately and fell in love with it on the spot! It had everything we were looking for, and more! We had our ceremony in the gardens, which made for AMAZING photos, our cocktail hour on the patio in the front, and the reception inside. They also have a gorgeous back patio with a cute little arch, which was great for photos! They have a carriage house on the property, which we rented out the day before the wedding for my girls, moms and I to spend the night and get ready in the following morning. The house across the parking lot and sleeps 14 people, so just perfect for girls night before the big day! There were 2 suites inside the venue, a bridal suite, which was beautiful and made for great pictures, and also a grooms room, which was very “manly” and perfect for the guys getting ready and hanging out in! Kim, her husband, and her entire staff were phenomenal throughout the entire process! They were so accommodating and you can tell they really love and care about what they do! I 110% recommend Tayvin Gardens to anyone who is wanting a beautifully unique wedding with great customer service! Thank you all for making our big day so special! It would not have been the same at any...
Read moreThe venue is absolutely beautiful, but the staff needs to work on their communication skills. It was impossible to get a hold of them by phone call and there was a 50/50 shot on them responding if you sent them an email with any questions.
We chose the pasta buffet for our dinner which included Alfredo sauce with vegetables and chicken and red sauce with meatballs (with ricotta). My husband and I do not like ricotta cheese so I asked the linen apron if they could use parmesan cheese instead of ricotta cheese. I was told this was no problem and was sent a catering invoice that said “sub parm for ricotta”. To this invoice I responded to be 100% sure that they understood I wanted Parmesan instead of ricotta. The venue responded to confirm they understood.
Fast foward to our wedding night once we received our plates of pasta we immediately noticed there was ricotta in the red sauce/meatballs.
I would also like to add that according to the wedding package that we purchased, we had the venue until midnight night of the wedding. At about 10pm about a dozen people started moving our things around and setting up for the Sunday wedding that was scheduled for the next day.
Other than the lack of communication and incorrect pasta dish, I have...
Read moreA magical experience! Tayvin Gardens is ran by a wonderful family. Kim, venue owner with her husband, was very hands on and ensure all my wedding needs were met without ton of restrictions like some venues. Brittany, the venues chef and owner of Linen Apron Catering, created by far the best wedding cuisine I've ever had. My guest wouldn't stop gushing about it. Madelyne, florist and owner the Wild Willow Flower Farm, understood my floral vision and made it a reality. One of the many perks of this place is the venues gorgeous grounds and landscaping which makes for one of a kind wedding photos. Tayvin Garden offers you a night in the contemporary manor on the venue property for your bridal party the night before your wedding party. I will definitely recommend Tayvin Garden if you are look for an usual wedding venue that offer all-one...
