I found Choonri collections through Google when I was looking for desi bridal wear and was so glad that I did! The owner and designer Seema was an absolute gem to work with. She provided my mom with a salwar kameez and jewlery for the Gaye holud (our pre-wedding event), and she made an absolutely gorgeous bridal sari for me. As a small woman with chronic joint pain, I had some concerns about the weight of the outfit. She helped me navigate this challenge and find something that worked for me. My mom absolutely loved the outfit and jewlery-she felt beautiful and comfortable wearing it. My custom sari was absolutely exquisite. The rich purple fabric, exquisite gold beading and embellishments, and colorful embroideries made me feel like a beautiful bride. Seema was very responsive and reassuring throughout the process, and her prices offer a great value. As my family and I are from New Hampshire and my husband’s family is from Bangladesh, this was an intercultural wedding. My fiancé and I needed an outfit for our upcoming sagai. We didn't want to go to Jersey, so we found Choonri Collection was nearby. Seema has a wonderful collection and was extremely helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you need any Indian clothing.

Update: Love Seema's collection. She recommended a tailor in Acton, MA I would not go to again. Although she was a nice lady, the blouse did not come out correctly. Makes me believe I wasn't measured correctly. Now I need to find a blouse to match my saree or buy...

Just know that this place is a "Boutique" (at HOME) and they only deal with "High Clients". Due to that friendly attitude is only reserved for those who fit in that category. Went to check it out as it was one of the options when searching for Indian wear. The audience for this store was not broadcasted anywhere. So advice for those wanting to go call ahead, ensure your fitting the range matches their price range which reflects their hard work...
