BoxDrop Bozeman Mattress and furniture — Local services in Bozeman

I bought a mattress from this business on Nov 3rd and have had it for a little under a month. It is by far the worst mattress I have ever owned and I would not reccomend buying from this business.

A few points to note: I have been in marketing for few years now and I am ashamed I did not catch the deceptive marketing practice this business uses. For starters, if you ever seen there ads on Facebook Marketplace, they are extremely deceptive. They adverstise mattresses at $110 and show photos of nice mattress to go along with it. These mattress that the photos are with are NOT the mattresses offered for the low price as advertised. They are not even the mattresses that are 1-2 tiers up. -The mattresses that are at the low price point are not out on display or on bases to try out and I was implored to lay it on the floor (still in the bag) and try it. If they are selling so many of these like the FB marketplace says, they should have them out on display to actually give the consumer confidence in their purchease. -The mattress (after getting home) was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever layed on. These are 4.5 inches thick (not noted on the FB marketplace ad). -In addition, the terms of sale (not listed anywhere on FB or their website) are not consistent with the rest of the mattress industry. Please note, ALL SALES FINAL which the consumer is only informed after they have picked out a mattress when they are implored to sign the Sales Agreement. The rest of the mattress industry has a minimum of a 30 day return policy. -Regarding social media, FB marketplace is designed to only be used for Consumer to Consumer sales not Business to Consumer. A business using this as a means to advertise is not an appropriate use of the platform feature.

Positive: -The owners are very friendly and nice. They were willing to help and give me twine to tie down my mattress and worked with me when the cheapest mattress was not avaiable.

Neutral: -They are only available a couple days a week for sales. I understand that business owners are busy and many people operate their business this way. This was only a problem for me because I desperately needed a mattress and was sleeping on a couch for three days before they were avaiable for sale. At this point, I was so desperate for mattress my consumer mindset was off.

Overall, this business uses exteremely decepetive marketing practices to sell and advertise. They use a bait and switch selling if you do discover the horrible quality of the lowest price mattress. DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS from this business and instead opp for a higher quality mattress from Amazon or litterally anywhere else. I give this mattress three weeks to "form to my body" or whatever and I did not fix or solve any problems.

As a newcomer into the area, one of the most stressful and exciting things was settling into my new house, and to me, a big part of feeling settled was finding a mattress that I could sleep on that was comfortable enough to alleviate my aches and pains and to help me with my sleep problems that I struggle with.
