Dollar General — Local services in Braselton

The way this store is ran is absolutely atrocious. They haven't had their shelves stocked since BEFORE COVID. You can't even find candles, sugar or aluminum foil. The shelves are empty. Every single day these shelves are bare. This has nothing to do with COVID as the location no more than 3 miles away has their shelves fully stocked.

The location I'm reviewing has an employee who is as sweet as can be. Today, she was made to work BY HERSELF at the cash register. There was a line wrapped around the store and almost out the door and no one there willing to help her. She's got to be near 80 years old. This is absolutely unacceptable and I've seen it happen so many times with this location. There's never enough employees available to help customers and to help each other. Every single customer in the store was angry at how this employee was being walked all over by whoever the manager is. The employee said she was not there alone, that there was another employee in the building. They just didn't find it necessary to assist her. I need to be contacted by either a District Manager or someone from corporate because this requires immediate escalation. I can be reached at ayyydavis@gmail.com. Went to Dollar General in Braselton. I had a package 3ft x 1ft to return by Fedex and they refused to accept it. The two nasty ladies that worked there said they did not have space. I overheard them saying that it was to big. Only foam components from a sleep number mattress were the contents. Very light. I had to take it to another location. I live fairly close to this dollar general & I don't really like going to the store unless I absolutely have to. But the times I have gone Melanie is right there. She's very accommodating. A few times she was already asking me if I need help before I could even ask her for help. I recently went the other day & like clockwork she was all over it.
