Gypsy Moon Hideaway - RV Park & Campground — Local services in Brazos Bend

We stayed July 18-20. There were Two adults,one teenage and a pet in our party. We had a wonderful time. The location is right on the river. They offer tubes for tubing and kayaks. There is a large pavilion available to all guests with seating and grills. It was very neatly kept. We stayed in the doll house. It's like a tiny home. It came with everything we needed. It was clean and decorated nicely.There was only one thing that needed improvement that was the upper level AC. Janice did alert me to it's complications. It needed to be replaced. Other than that our stay was awesome. Before I forget. There is a bait shop on site. You can purchase live bait, ice, drinks and snacks. If you need river info just reach out to them before your stay. They are the nicest people. A big THANKS to Gypsy Moon. Will be back. Carla De La Rosa

Awesome!!! We backed in our 19ft travel trailer and easily could fit bigger. The space is clean, primitive, very close to the river and had a nice picnic table with extended roof/coverage over it.

There’s a little outdoor shower that we used plus some hammocks, chairs, games and other cute things in this hang out area next to your spot.

We swam in the river and hung out on the river bank listening to music and enjoy the beauty and sun bathed!

In the evening we utilized the awesome little fire pit that doubles as a swing away grill which was perfect to cook on then swing the top out from the fire and let it cool off.

We hung some of own lights but there were cute lights strung around a couple of the trees and the river area had two lights so it wasn’t pitch black which made it feel cozier.

If there was a way to give all the stars, all my stars would go here. My husband and I camped at Gypsy moon July 6th - 10th. We fell in love with it! So much so that we joked with Amy that we weren't going to leave a review.. Only because we were being selfish lol.. You know how it is, you find a wonderful place and want to keep it all to yourself, but know deep down that others should really enjoy it too! Right on the river, all kinds of wildlife running around.. Chickens greet you and just wonder all around! Seriously a one of a kind place! It reminded me of going camping as a kid at grandma and grandpa's farm. Just a lot quieter and greatly more relaxing! If you are looking for a unique hidden gem, go visit and find out for yourself. I bet you will enjoy it just as much or more than we did. Wonderful!!! We already miss...
