Oysters XO — Local services in Breckenridge

My experience with Oysters XO exceeded all of my expectations. From the initial planning to the day of the event, this team made the event that much more special. We hired Oysters XO for a rehearsal dinner/welcome party in Charleston and here’s what I have to say!

Rikfo was incredibly accommodating, informative, and helpful while planning the event. I had many questions that he was able to answer promptly!

The team that arrived day of were so great. They were personable, fun, informative, and exciting. The guests were so pleased with them and couldn’t stop talking about them!

The OYSTERS!!! Wow. I myself was always afraid to try them but I figured I had to during this event after all the work put into it. THEY WERE AMAZING! The condiments that the staff carry were all so flavorful and complimented the oysters so well. We had a lot of fun trying them all.

The guest experience was what made it all worth it! As soon as the team made their way onto the floor during cocktail hour; the guests faces LIT UP with excitement and surprise. They couldn’t believe they’d have fresh oysters shucked right in front of them.

I will be using Oysters XO many times in the future I already know it. Cannot recommend them highly...

I received the rudest, unaccommodating, pretentious email from Rifko. He quoted me at $2500 for 2 hrs. and 540 oysters but only providing enough staff to shuck 450 oysters since our cocktail hour is only 1.5 hrs. When pointing out the 100 oysters that would be wasted, he tried to charge me an extra $1250 for an extra shucker. When I asked for a revised quote for 1.5 hrs. even if it meant only 450 oysters, this is the response I received. Hello, I appreciate you explanation and I would love to be part of your cocktail hour. My first proposal is what I would suggest you go with, based on my 9 years of experience and reputation building up this company to one that has teams in 10 cities, shucking for the most amazing events and working with the top of the hospitality and event industry. There is a reason for the hotel to recommend our service. If you don’t trust that, then go with the extra Oyster Chef or don’t use us at all. The choice is yours. I wish you good luck with...

Booking Oysters XO was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I am a New York-based event planner (@trevinatadrosinc) and I knew that as someone who works in the industry I wanted to take the opportunity to do some thing a bit different for my wedding. Both my husband and I love oysters and so I began researching catering options to incorporate them into our wedding. I came across Oysters XO and was in love with the concept. I reached out to Rifko and felt there was an instant connection. He understood my vision, expressed an interest in working together and was just an overall pleasure to communicate and work with.
