Fumee Falls — Local services in Breitung Township

Really beautiful place to check out! I actually loved that it was just a small area with no hiking trails, there is just stairs to the top and a little creek. (Perfect for elderly and people with small children) But If you want to do a days hiking trip, I would recommend Piers Gorge! Very pretty! But for hiking there isn’t much, at all. Me and my boyfriend were doing the Michigan waterfall camping trip and for us to go an hour out of our way to see this fall, it wasn’t much. You pull off the side of the highway and it’s right there. No hiking or anything. Would recommend if you are already driving in that direction but not if you are doing the waterfall trip. Nice little waterfall right off the road. There are several levels, but only two are really visible from the path. The first set is at ground level and the second you have to climb a set of stairs to see. There is a third that is tucked back behind a rock wall that is slightly visible on the stairs.
