Not sure if it was Camilla EMC or public works but on Sunday 7/9/23 around 1:30 pm while traveling thru Camilla a work truck was in a turning lane to turn left towards moultrie at the red light close to McDonald’s while we were in lane heading towards Pelham. All of a sudden the driver of the truck decided he was gonna change lanes and started over into our lane as we were traveling 40 miles per hour or so. We being in a Nissan Sentra would not have stood a chance against the big white work truck if it wasn’t for my husband’s defensive driving and realizing there was no one beside or behind us so we could yield to the right. They overcharge their customers. When it was summertime and I turned my air on frequently they charged around 5 dollars a day. Now that summer is gone and I don't turn on my air I'm still being charged around 5 dollars a day but I remember in the summertime it was a power outage for hours and they still charged me 5 dollars a day worth of electricity which basically meant they exposed their own selves for overcharging me. I would never recommend them to anyone and if you find a house you like and mitchell is providing the electricity keep looking and find a house that's with Georgia Power. It really sucks that you dont have a choice who u can get ur power through like u have a choice who u get phone service or ur car insurance through cuz if i could choose i defiantly wouldnt have my power with this company i would have power from some place else! This place is all about their money they dont try and work with u if u dont have all of ur money one month it dont matter if it aint but $20 u leave owing on ur account if it aint there buy the due date they will cut it off over $20 not to mention how high their rates are.
