I checked out this rink on a Monday evening, retro and adult night. It's obviously a locally owned type of place with a small town feel. Very cool. 😎 The snack bar wasn't impressive, but I wasn't there to eat, I was there to skate. The website says no outside food or drink, but I saw many people with their own water bottles/containers. I absolutely loved the wood floor. That was SO cool. The rink is not air conditioned, but cooled by evaporative cooler. Not a big deal for me, but it could be for you. There are some video games, air hockey and ski ball. The men's room kind of sucked. It reminded me of a fuel station restroom. It didn't smell, thankfully. Unfortunately, there were quite a few flies buzzing around. That was a little annoying. ☹️ The attendant was awesome and she catered to the needs of my family. All of the patrons we're friendly and considerate as well. Overall, this is a great place to go skate. It's quaint, and there was a very relaxed feel in the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone that likes to skate and hang with friends and family. If you like bougie, this place probably...
Read moreI have been going to this place every single birthday I am now 13 today when I went with my freind I had to swich my roller skates twice. Let's get into detail. So every time I want here it was amazing great service great food everything is absolute amazing I will continue to go here but when I went today I had to switch roller skates twice the first my left shoe kept lagging it was not going with my other shoe so I switched them out for s new pair thoes worked fine they were a bit wobbly but worked great another situation was the floor it had a lot of cracks in it my freinds roller skate got stuck in there and she fell. Again there was alot of cracks each was most likely due to my roller skates wobbling and I had to avoid the cracks almost all the kids I saw fell most likely due to the roller skates or cracks. I absoluty love this place and would hate for it to get shut down and I don't want that to happen and hopefully it's not going to happen but if you guys could I would like if you fix the floor and maybe check the roller skates again I love this place and want it to be a safe place for...
Read moreWell now, it seems Colorado is the place to go for rinks with center supports (I encountered another rink in Fort Collins Colorado with them also). This rink's supports are unique though; They are giant tree trunks. I thought they were cute. And they don't detract from the skating experience at all in my opinion.
Now for my skating experience: I had a good time skating here. The wooden floor is great, and although the building is obviously pretty old, it is kept up well. Usually, I like to get a feel for the management style of a rink, but on this occasion I did not interact with the staff as much as I usually do. But the staff did seem to be doing a good job and seemed happy with their jobs. So, I will hazard a guess that the management of this rink is in good hands.
This rink is sort of hard to find for a non-local. It's not on a main road. I believe I drove past it at least twice before I found it.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this rink. I think you will enjoy your visit. Good job...
