As a student lawyer at the Immigration Clinic of Roger Williams University School of Law (RWU Law), I had an incredibly valuable and transformative experience. The clinic not only offered me the opportunity to work on real-life immigration cases but also complemented the excellent education I received from RWU Law. The combination of classroom learning and practical training prepared me exceptionally well for real-world legal practice.

The faculty members at RWU Law are truly dedicated to their students’ growth and success. Their mentorship, guidance, and expertise were invaluable throughout my clinical experience. They continuously provided constructive feedback and helped me refine my skills in legal research, case preparation, client advocacy, and courtroom presentation.

The Immigration Clinic itself was an outstanding platform for applying my knowledge to serve those most in need. From handling asylum applications and deportation defense to assisting with VAWA and other complex immigration matters, the experience was both challenging and rewarding. Working directly with clients and witnessing the positive impact of our efforts was genuinely motivating and reinforced my passion for public interest law.

The integration of high-quality legal education at RWU Law and practical training through the Immigration Clinic made my learning experience truly exceptional. I highly recommend RWU Law and its Immigration Clinic to anyone seeking a comprehensive, hands-on legal education with a meaningful...

You can easily get As if you just get commercial outlines. Pumping out very bad lawyers but Rhode Island is full of bad attorneys anyways. The school doesn't really care if you "cheat". I told a professor about the cheating and Professor Chung who is on the honor board said "if you can get away with it okay ".

I was in the minority. Never got a commercial or other outline from these groups like PAD. Just studied and got As. If you're in the honors program you're guaranteed to get high grades. You have exclusive access to classes where the average GPA is like a 3.8 while everyone takes classes that have a curve of 2.5...

It's slightly better than just learning on your own. I guess. Doesn't really prepare you for the bar exam. Now that I think about it ABA requirements make it so that bad schools are always necessary because someone literally is required to teach the material for ABA purposes. You can probably have the same odds of passing the bar by just studying solo for 3 years and submitting work once or twice a year for each class to some national assessment team. Perhaps require an internship too...
