I was 9 months pregnant... 41 weeks, my family n I abruptly had to move from our apartment to somewhere we couldn't keep my pup, Bella. I was in pre labor trying to figure out best n most comfortable place for her to be either until I could get her back or a home where she would be as loved as she was. As if it wasn't hard enough, I had to go to my last option and bring her here. Not even FOUR DAYS later I get the call " I'm sorry but I think we may be putting bella down. You may pay a 100$ fee and come receive her ashes." .....?!?!?! Bella was "protecting her rawhide, food and toys" 1.) What the HELL are you doing going in a dogs mouth that just got done teething..??? 2.) You murder beautiful animals with hearts of gold because they PROTECT what's SUPPOSED to be in their mouth!? I'm talking like this dog was great with kids, babies, cats, dogs... loved car rides and swimming like the average pup. Hogged the bed. They were fully prepared and didn't hesitate the option of euthanizing her. Taking her life because she was hyper and protected what was HERS. Luckily I got her out of there... IN LABOR.. and found an amazing home for her, on a farm with children and pups and a new mum and dad to cuddle. If you love you're dog and run into an emergency where you have to bring them somewhere so they are comfortable and their a typical DOG that is happy n hyper ... don't come here. Most screwed up experience ever, all while my daughter was on her way into the world...
Read moreI wish I could give them 0 stars I had the absolute worst experience at this shelter. First of all the head lady of this place was very rude to us and from the start I could tell that she would not let us adopt at all here. Me and my family have been trying to find and adopt a dog for more than 2 years and we finally had a found the perfect dog here. So as soon as we him we immediately went to the front desk to fill out an application we are both 20 so we were not allowed to adopt without someone who is 21. The next day we came in with my father who signed the application form and put we had one more person living with us. They told us we needed every person in the house to meet them which I agree with that’s fine so we asked if we could put the dog on hold they said no or if we could just pay for it right then and there they said no. So we came in the next day with the other family member the dog loved him and then they proceeded to tell us that someone wanted that dog they saw us playing with him and wanted him and proceeded to put the dog on hold for that couple! Even though they said they can’t put dogs on hold! This was the upmost shittiest thing they could do to us! Good luck trying to adopt from this place cause this place is the...

All pets will cost money; Food, medicine, routine care, emergency care, flea & tick treatments. Even the tiniest of critters if taken care of well could be costly. Each pet has its unique needs and also Conditions it's prone to that must be addressed for proper care. A visit to vets office can run 75- 500 easily.
Adoption should be a family decision. Most children will slack on their responsibilities. ..they’re kids. Don't get a child a pet unless you want the pet also. 1 reason most pets ending up in shelters is for lack of money for care, children losing interest or death of owner.
Have a plan in place for your pets if you should become ill or die.
Behavioral issues can be addressed in most cases....animals from shelters need extra love and support and training....give it time.
Do your research on the pet of your choice , be financially able to care for the pet and promise it's tiny heart you'll LOVE 'EM FOR LIFE❤️❤️❤️(not affiliated with...
