Nice, neat store offering good value products for sale. The main discounted values are to be found in the freezer section. The product selection changes frequently due to the high turnover of stock in the store, but in the past we've purchased frozen quarts of egg whites (yes you CAN freeze them), meat products of all kinds, and more. The deli counter also offers good value. We bought smoked gouda for under $4/lb. They have a wide variety of deli cheeses and meats. The rest of the store features a lot of Walnut Creek products (which are full retail), but shop carefully. Mixed in are some real bargains. For example, we bought several bags of dehydrated"Chicken Chips" for only .99 for 1.5 oz. (They're like very thick kettle chips, but are filling like jerky.) Afterwards enjoy an ice cream cone at their attached ice cream shop. They serve the outstanding Ashby's brand of ice cream for a very reasonable price. I feel like I am treasure hunting when I go to discount groceries. My family came with, oh no! Actually, it was fine. We gave each kid a $5 limit, and my husband's cart additions did not hurt like they would have at a traditional grocery store.

Full disclosure, we are trying to eat healthy with low sodium, sugar, etc... I really appreciate a place where I can pick up healthy meal components, snacks, and sides without breaking the budget.
