Angel House Designs — Local services in Brookfield

Last year we rediscovered Angel House Designs. We visited and returned home with a Sheraton Loveseat, Hartford Recliner and a lovely upholstered bench for the foot of our bed. Roz went above and beyond patiently helping us to make the right choices.

This year, with Roz’s help, we decided upon two John Watson Wingchairs. She guided us through the process of selecting just the right upholstery fabric that would work with our living room colors and decor.

In addition, our Chippendale Sofa had been badly damaged in transport to our home and we were afraid that it may not be salvageable. Angel house both reupholstered and repaired it. When it was delivered, Sue brought custom fabric swatches with her and helped me order just the right decorative pillows.

This review is long overdue, for which we apologize. We purchased a wonderful Angel House loveseat 20+ years ago and when it came time for re-upholstery earlier this year we contacted Roz about having the work done. In addition, we had a family heirloom chair that needed a complete re-make, both structurally and cosmetically. We added a matching footstool and pillows to our order as well. Everything was returned to us in superb condition, the matching of fabric patterns and attention to detail is second to none. Roz and Sue are a pleasure to work with and they have great ideas to make the entire process smooth and easy. As far as we are concerned Angel House is the gold standard for top quality reproduction furniture with an old fashioned New England personal touch. We would eagerly do business with them again.

Sue, Roz and everyone at Angel House Designs are the best of the best! My wife and I purchased two chairs and a sofa from Angel House Desgns over the 30 years ago. They had matching fabric and all were well designed and built and looked gorgeous in our 1776 reproduction salt box. They fit right in with all of our antique furniture. Time moves on and so did we. We moved to Cape Cod and downsized. The sofa went to a new home where it was appreciated. The chairs went into storage.
