Extremely unkind owner, was very rude right when I walked in the door. Very short attitude. Employee working in the front was very kind and tried to offset and balance out the owner. If you've never been to this store before, I highly recommend you go with someone who has been there before as they are not patient to new customers. Not BIPOC friendly, most of the people with the best experience here are not people of color and that should say something in itself.

*updated- The bad review comes from the poor treatment from the employee that worked with me (not the actual owner as clarified). The item that was purchased did not match the color that was posted online, which is okay- sometimes that happens. My review comes from how rude the employee was to me right from when I entered the store to pick up my item to reviewing the return policy. It's completely understandable that I could not return the item, as I was trying to get clarification from the person assisting me. What was not okay was how the employee was cutting me off and giving me an attitude instead of just clarifying the policy. The item that I purchased was in fine condition and I left feeling alright about it. But the lasting impression of how RUDE the employee was to me is why I left the review stating specifically to make sure that you go with someone who has already been to this store as they do not have patience with new customers. Also, I AM A BIPOC person and I know through life experience when people are treating you differently...

This store has a falling prices structure with most weeks starting on Saturdays for 15 dollars, Sunday for 10, etc of the bigger items in the store. There is a different pricing structure for clothes and health and beauty stuff. They also occasionally get a lot of one type of thing(school supplies, specific holiday decor, seasonal items) that they then special price. The issue comes in due to nothing having a labeled price in the store. I had a specific incident this weekend when one employee confirmed a price and then when I went to go check out the other employee insisted it was a different price. Even after the first employee came up and confirmed she had told me a certain price, the other employee refused to honor it because she didn't agree with that price. It can make shopping at this store a bit of a hassle, even with double checking a price before check out. They also don't have printed receipts at the register so you can't see how much they're charging you when you go to check out for each item so it pays to pay attention and verify how much they're charging...

The owner retired a few weeks back and it’s not the same. Prices were raised, the main day was changed from Saturday to Friday morning, the auction isn’t organized as well as it used to be, so it’s hard to get an excellent deal now. — update, the original owner is no longer involved. The main day used to be Saturday morning but is now Friday which, unfortunately, isn't an option for myself or my family and friends due to work. The prices have increased. Everything in the store used to be a fixed price, but now certain items are marked up. The owner is nice, but the prices for main items are no longer worth it as nothing is guaranteed to work.
