I had the worst experience at this gym! I've been attending gyms across the country since 1988. My wife and I joined this gym for convenience and I wasn't crazy about the size but I joined. I attended approximately 7 or 8 times. I went during the week and it was awesome. I also went on two different Saturday and each time the owner was present. The first Saturday the owner approached me during my work and asked me to use a bath towel for each station. I thought it was very strange for another person to interrupt anyone but I just let it go went about my day. The owner also said that I didn't put my weights back but I wasn't done. Again I let it go. The next Saturday the same thing happened. At that point I asked to speak with him in private. I said you are making my workout very uncomfortable. He asked why and I pointed out what I didn't like and he said this is my gym and I do what I want. I said I didn't want to use this gym while you are here. He asked me to leave and also asked my wife to leave because she came with me. she had no idea what was happening and asked why? "Because you came in with him" He called me later that day and said ( the condensed version)"This is Tiran. I want to apologize for this morning. This is my number if you wish to talk. if not, I understand" There's a big difference between gym etiquette and being reasonable. I am now a member of LA Fitness and I love it because they have service personnel that clean after you leave each station. Unfortunately my wife has been inconvenienced for no reason.
I would like to say that any person, when provoked, may react in a not so favorable light. That doesn't negate the fact that your practices are incorrect from my perspective. I didn't just get upset on my own. I am not paying you to pester me about what I am doing in the gym. When a person goes to a restaurant they don't clean the dishes they used or put the table cloth on their own table. Ultimately, your approach to running a gym isn't conducive to a pleasant experience. It feels more like working out with one's mother.
Additionally, everyone knows you...
Read moreTiran is very unprofessional and unreasonable. I serve for this country and constantly am on the move with my work. At the beginning stage of me signing up at this gym, I asked were there any contracts because I would not be able to do a contract due to me serving and unpredictable orders. I was told, they would not put me under a contract and just to provide my orders which I have done before. While I’m currently on orders, Tiran constantly reaches out almost everyday requesting that I update a method payment on file or I will not be able to ever use anytime fitness ever.(My account is supposed to be on hold) felt as if that was a threat and I finally replied. The lack of respect he has with his members is ongoing . He responded with an unprofessional remark with myself resulting in blocking him. He’s a sad excuse for management. Wouldn’t recommend this facility at all. As for...
Read moreOn my FitQuest70 journey to lose 70 pounds, traveling from Sacramento to Texas, I visited Anytime Fitness gym #87 in Brookshire, Texas that earns a perfect 5-star rating - I’d give it a 10 if I could! The air conditioning is perfect, keeping the space comfortable, and the concrete floors add a cool, clean space. All equipment, from weight machines to free weights, were is great condition, and I focused my workout today on a full-body session with some extra stretching. In the main gym area, they provide gym towels and refreshing peppermint-scented hand towels, while the showers and bathrooms are well-stocked with complimentary amenities. Bright lighting and music at just the right volume and there’s not a single dust bunny in sight. This gym is a shining example of the...
