This place is filthy people are sick and lazy. The bathrooms are horrible. My 8 year old boy was not able to use the men's restroom because it was so filthy he mentioned poop was ALL over the toilet and some slob left their poop underwear in the toilet. He mentioned all stalls were out of tp too. I go to the concessions to speak to some who works here about this and the lady literally had no idea how to handle this issue nor did she know who she should tell and she had absolutely nothing to say about this manner so I'm sure no one ever went to attent to the bathroom. So I took my boy to the ladies room where there were changing stations with walls and NO DOORS so my child potentially saw numerous half dressed or naked woman. There was no ventilation in the bathroom it smelt like a hot box with saturated poop the smell was horrendous. It wasnt too filthy but it could have used some cleaning. Now the beach was filthy people were leaving their hot coals on the sand/grass where CHILDREN can walk over them. There were dirty diapers and trash left along the beach all trash cans were full even after the employee just dumped them because people were trying to fit their whole garbage bag on top of the trash...

Brookville Lake Beach is a very cool family beach in Mounds State Park. We have been going there for many years. A lot has changed thru the years... There use to be lifeguards, they use to have kid friendly things to do at the campground area too. It seems all that it gets more expensive every year however things just keep getting removed not replaced. I am starting to think INS should start making a presence at the beach. Some weekends I kind of feel more like I took a vacation to Mexico. The lake is very pretty and it's a perfect place to watch the spring leaves grow and to see the fall leaves too. There is also a concession stand that serves hot meals too. The park has plenty security so not much to really worry about. Just make darn sure you lock your cars or trucks. People have taken stuff out of cars here. Other than that it's a real nice place to hang out with family...

There's like three access points to get to this Lake it's huge but the beach that we stopped at was very nice peaceful people were laughing and playing and happy there was a food court changing rooms bathrooms but I will quote on the bathroom they need to clean them throughout the day instead of just leaving and the people that use these bathrooms stop being disgusting you're the reason why most of these places and a closing because you're disgusting clean up after yourself. Other than that it was beautiful and the beach was nice to drive to the beach this is a very nice...
