After researching the area, we decided to book a 4 night stay at Bison Creek for the first week in September, 2017. Based on all the positive reviews, we were looking forward to our visit. How upsetting it was to us to hear mice scratching in the walls, as soon as the lights went out and we were laying in bed. At one point in the night, my husband got up and saw mice running across the kitchen floor. After speaking with Aaron the next morning, he promised to set more traps and said the he had been battling the mouse problem all summer. The woman in the next chalet over also commented the next morning that she had mouse visitors. On our second night stay, the scratching continued as soon as the lights went out. Also there was a clanging noise. At 2am my husband found the metal mouse trap/box on the kitchen floor with a mouse trapped in it. He proceeded to toss the trap on to the front porch. Later on, we both felt something going across the foot of the bed and heard a "thud" when "it" was kicked off. Needless to say, we found other accommodations for the other 2 nights. We could not have the breakfast on the second morning and let Aaron know this the night before. We had an early boat ride to Grinnell Glacier and had to be to the park by 8am (breakfast at Bison Creek is from 8 to 9) Aaron made no effort to give us a "bag" breakfast or even a cup of coffee on that morning. After 2 horrible night's sleep, Aaron did not even give us a break on our room rate. Cannot believe we paid $140/night to sleep with mice. Also cell phone reception is very spotty here and we were not told about the WiFi until after the 1st night (another customer gave us the password). Aaron was very friendly and the breakfast on the first morning was excellent. I do question the how clean the kitchen area is after the huge mouse problem in...

We choose this property as it is two miles from East Glacier NP.||The previous year we’d stayed at a lovely property located 3 miles down the road from Bison Creek Ranch, unfortunately they had already closed for the season. ||At Bison Creek Ranch, we stayed in one of the A-Frames which did not appear to be professionally maintained or cleaned. ||Upon entering the A-Frame, we encountered at least a dozen house flys flying around the front room. The room has a ceiling fan powered by an extension cord, and a closet that opens onto the front room as well as opens to the bedroom. ||In the kitchen, dishes were piled in the dish drainer, along with a worn out Scotch-Brite sponge/pad and an accumulation of dead flys in the light fixture. We did not use any of the provided dishes or coffee makers due to their questionable cleanliness.||The bathroom is very small and shower enclosure walls were extremely dirty as well as had visible mildew accumulation. The toilet is placed about 2 inches from the bathroom wall and lacks sufficient clearance to close the bathroom door when using it.||During the night we heard noises, upon investigating we found mouse droppings on the kitchen counter.||We were charged $200.00 per night plus a $50.00 cleaning fee (+state lodging tax). For the price, I would recommend staying elsewhere, perhaps as far as Browning and drive the extra 15 miles to get to...
