Old Trading Post Grocery — Local services in Bryant

I can't believe it. I've been going to that store on a regular basis for Years. They do have great sandwiches. But, last week I bought some stuff including a sandwich and a bag of ice. When I got home I realized I forgot the ice. I just figured I would ask for it the next time I went back. So, today I went to get a sandwich and told them what happened and they flatly refused to let me get a bag of ice OR my money back. They said since it was longer than 24 hours, I couldn't prove whether I bought it or didn't buy it. How could they tell when I bought it? So, if I was dishonest, I could have said I bought it the day before and I'd have been fine. They called the owner and lied to him saying I called the manager names, which I did NOT do. The absolute worst service I have ever experienced. So, basically they willingly stole my money. Never going back. And will be encouraging my friends to not go back. All over a bag of...

They have just a little bit of everything from gas, kerosene, groceries and household supplies. There is a walk in beer cooler with more than just beer, wine coolers and other adult beverages that are kept cold. They also have a wide variety of ice cream treats. It reminds me of the corner store when I was growing up. It is a small town feeling where they remember your name and greet you when you come in the door. Also, on more than one occasion they did not have a specific brand or product I wanted but they are always very happy to order and update their inventory so they will have it next time I come in there store. They are a dollar more than any where else since the new owners. For instance 2L. They hardly ever open at 6am like they are supposed to. They don’t even leave a sign if they know they’re going to be late. Nothing good has come from the new ownership except cleanliness. They are supposed to open at 6am and it is 9 till 7am.
