I've always wanted to go sky diving and finally for my birthday on Monday I was able to check it off my bucket list. I found Skydive Buckeye via Groupon and google. And I am so beyond thankful I did. First let's just say I think the requirements to work there is to be incredibly good looking, personable, and funny. Not that you're even paying attention to those things when you're plummeting towards the earth but it did calm my nerves before I stepped into the airplane. Melissa one of the owners was so sweet and helpful. The process was so easy. Also with Covid every thing was very safe and clean. They definitely have gone above and beyond with their safety and cleanliness. If I didn't have a birthday to go celebrate I would of stayed there all day and hung out, that's how amazing the staff is. The jump/dive/plummet whatever you want to call it was outstanding. The plane ride up they were all so good about calming us all down, and documenting everything. Farmer was telling jokes left and right. Brad was helping me mediate and then rapped Eminem for me (don't worry Melissa he skipped all the bad words) I have to thank Brad who I jumped with for forgiving me, after I forgot everything he said I was supposed to do when we jumped. The video/photo package is MUST! They edit it so well with awesome music. Plus the guys captured every second of the experience which is hilarious to watch after. Who knew my nostrils could get that big?!?!!? I'm hoping with this lengthy, wonderful review they offer me free sky diving for life, because I am addicted :) I definitely will be back again. Oh and also don't settle for the 10,000 ft go for the 14,000 ft jump. You won't regret it. You deserve big things and more time to free fall. So happy we found this place and can't wait to replenish my piggy bank to go back and see all the lovely people that work there. And to remember directions, to keep my eyes open, and... there's a huge list of things I forgot but I won't bore...

From my very first jump to today’s exhilarating ride along, my experiences with Skydive Buckeye has been nothing short of epic!

I remember walking in, a mix of excitement and nerves, ready to sign my waiver. The moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed like family by both Melissa and Shane. The whole team at Skydive Buckeye made me feel at ease as the conversations were both loose and comical. I loved each person openly sharing their career highlights as well as warming everyone up for what was to come.

I still remember my first time being scooted to the front of the door for my tandem jump, it was a bucket list life-changing moment. The rush of adrenaline was a mix of complete terror and excitement.

Fast forward to today, I had the incredible opportunity to capture a first-timer’s skydive from a whole new perspective – as a ride-along with Rodney. What an experience! Watching the excitement and anticipation on all the first timers faces which included my boyfriends brought back all my own memories. The thrill of the jump was palpable, and I felt every bit of their journey with them.

The highlight? The unexpected and thrilling nose dive to land! It was a wild twist that left me breathless. Rodney’s expertise and calm demeanor made the ride feel safe yet thrilling, and I couldn’t have asked for a better companion for this adventure. We took our son for his 19th Birthday for the very first time yesterday. It was a mutual bucketlist item of ours. A mother and son experience. I don't have enough great things to say about this family owned company, their operations and fantastic staff! We watched them put the shoots together. We were given very clear instructions on what to do, expect and there was not one moment at any time during the flight up, our jump or landing that we felt unsafe. My instructor was Trent who was incredible. He is the calmest person you will ever meet. From his body language to his expert training and calming voice I knew I was in safe hands. He talked me through everything as it happened which I liked because never having sky dived before there would have been a lot I would have forgotten any other way because my mind was all over the place. He talked to me the entire time and truly cared about my experience. So here is how I would descibe my first time sky diving experience: "It was a rush indeed. The feeling was incredible. Jumping is one thing, free falling was the scariest for me but I knew I had Trent with me, flying like a bird was incredible and floating once he pulled the shoot is the most peaceful, beautiful and the closest you will be to God for sure. Landing is fun and than it's a blurr and you try to relive it and you can't because your adrenaline is still too high. We laughed, we hugged, we didn't die, we felt something, unless you do it, you will never feel!" We would definitely do it again and would definitely return to Skydive Buckeye!
