Upshur Cinema 6 — Local services in Buckhannon

Showing started at 9:20.. got there at exactly 9:20 (it was pouring the rain down) and the door was locked as we were about to leave a girl unlocked it and begrudgingly let us in..we paid for our tickets and another girl tells the manager that there's more people outside who wanna come in and he yells "let everyone out there in but THATS IT if yall wanna get out of here tonight, unless u guys wanna stay all night." (Which i dont understand the movie runs for 2 hours either way your going to be in there until the movies over my guy..)They then rushed us through the concessions and when we got into the theater it was 9:25 and the movie was already 1/2 way through the opening scene...I understand the world is short staffed everyone is pulling doubles and I'm sure they did wanna go home BUT if your staffing issue is so bad then don't have a late showing. Some people live 20 mins away and don't get off until 9. Other people have jobs too. I've been to this location many times but after tonight I won't be back for a while, I'll just go to the drive in up in shinston or clarksburg, also I love to tip hard workers..I was going to tip that young lady who unlocked the door but her managers attitude is what kept me from doing...

Kong Skull Island: saw two weekends ago and this is the 3rd time manager of the theater cut the film before the ending post scenes play. When my husband and I went up front and asked them why they cut the movie before the post scenes, he said there was nobody in the theater. The two of us were sitting there because a friend told us of the post scene so we were waiting to see that scene. Manager replied well I didn't see you in there, what do you want me to do about it! Very poor attitude, he was fresh to us, and then threw it in there face that they had complained two other times about ending the movie before it was over! While we were sitting there the cleaning crew came in and they turned the lights up. After the cleaning crew left the guy that had sat next to me had left a bottle of soda on the floor and I picked it up to throw it in the trash for them. I forgot to throw it in the trash and I still had it in my hand when I was talking to the manager. He said you're lucky I even let you in the theater, you're not supposed to bring in to the theater. He didn't even let me explain it wasn't mine to begin with. RUDE RUDE RUDE I fee very uncomfortable going back to that theater with that guy...

After the clerk got my order wrong 4 times, I told the clerk to "Get your act together" followed by a manager who ran after my family and informed me that I had to leave due to "Raising my voice" at the clerk. I never did raise my voice, did not cuss the employee or was overly rude to that employee. Customer service should be so much higher due to charging three times the amount for food and drinks. You should be treated with respect, not threatened. I am forever banned, and currently looking for a phone number for corporate...
