I just wanna say thank you to the ladies in the office, they’ve been very welcoming and helpful with the move in process. Gabriella worked with us every step of the way from all the way across the country. The property is actually nicer in person than online which is pretty opposite compared to other places. Very clean and quiet neighborhood feel to it and they take care of workorders very quickly so that’s always nice. I’m glad we chose this place and my wife and daughter love it as well!

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!! I've had the WORST Experience in my entire life living here!! They have had so many management companies in the 2 years I have been here! I moved in February of 2021 and a few months later they said I had this back billing for water. They said i was going to be charged additional money on each bill so that I can pay off all the water that was not billed correctly. I asked them were they sure this was my water bill because I had just moved in and I couldn't understand why I would be billed. They assured me it was my bill. I paid extra every month since I have been living here. I had a dog for a few months and was told in the office not to mention it because then i would get charged more. Later they said I was going to be fined because I had an animal in my home that they were not aware of. I ended up giving my dog away. I went in to the office signed a paper and today I see I am STILL being charged $25 every month for a pet fee. I paid my rent by money order last February in 2023 or March and in July they send me a notice saying I have been behind on my rent for months. I went in and was very upset. I was treated horriblly by Jordan. She made it seem like I was lying. She talked to me like I was stupid. I unfortunately did not have any receipt etc from money order or enough proof from my bank on an $800 withdrawal at the time that was used towards the money order, but since it wasnt for full amount they couldn't verify that. They demanded the "Missed" month while I just paid for the current month. I had to dash out $6,000 dollars in a months time frame. That was for the month that was due, the rent they said I did not pay, then the next months rent that came up. It really put me in a financial bind. How can I be behind on my rent and NEVER be notified, How can someone owe money to an apartment complex and NOT receive an eviction notice for MONTHS!? I don't understand how that happened! Most recently THERE ARE ROACHES in my apartment!!! It's so disgusting and has gotten out of hand. When i first made the report they handed me a bottle of roach spray!? Never in my life living anywhere in the Austin area and at my age I've LIVED IN SO MANY APARTMENTS ALL OVER I've never had a complex do this. I never had a professional pest control service come out although I do pay $5 every month for pest control. I reached out again, they finally came with a professional service and tried to fume my apartment but said the key that had was not working, it's been weeks and I STILL have not gotten my apartment professionally fumigated, im furious right now. What really sparked my nerve is the pet bill of $25 on my bill. Also when I first moved in the water backed up in my restroom only a month after living here, it's happened 2x already and i had a plumber come out because it was too big of a problem for their maintenance to handle. My dishwasher had to be replaced and the list goes on. I'm just really unhappy with how i was treated and how much money i pay to get such shitty service. I paid over $2,000 every month for this crap. It's so unnecessary and I really hope this complex gets their act together! They will continue to have empty apartments because they don't fill up I see empty apartments for months at a time it's no wonder they can't rent...

also previous reviews are FAKE to boost Jordan’s appearance.

First off I signed a lease with my sister and due to unforeseen circumstances and hardships she is not able to move in with me anymore. I asked Emily the property manager if I could cancel the lease with out any penalty mind you it hasn't even started yet we haven't moved in. Me trusting the PROPERTY manager. Who is supposed to be knowledgeable about the complexes policies. She told me I could cancel the lease with out any penalties. Later on she took back what she said and said that she was wrong and that we will have to pay a reletting fee.

When I told Jordan the assistant property manager about my situation she had absolutely no remorse and seemed only to care whether or not we would be proceeding with the lease after I already told her why we couldn't making me feel like just a dollar sign and profit to her not a person or future resident. She was looking and speaking with a very unwelcoming, UGLY and incompassionate tone.

UPDATE: they offered for me to do a one bed to avoid the relenting fee almost like twisting my arm to rent there. So I contacted Jordan to see if there was one bedrooms available for me to lease to resolve the conflict and she made it seem like that was no longer an option and told me that my application fee and deposit has been “assessed” and she will have to run by Emily to see if I could lease still. Mind you the complex has/ had MANY vacant units but refused to offer me any information about it. However she did make sure to ask about the previous review I left seemed to be only thing she cared about her self image. just like how she only cared if we were proceeding with the lease. NO WONDER there are so many VACANT units.

Earlier that day I inquired about one beds with Gabriella prior to speaking with Jordan and she was the only person who ever made me feel some type of hope . The only one who offered solutions and information not attitude only one who greeted me with a welcoming tone and smile. In my opinion she should be in a higher position than Jordan because Jordan does not offer solutions only more PROBLEMS!!!

Treat people better!!! Especially if yall want to get rid of all those sitting vacant units yall have. Jordan should be attracting clients not pushing them away as a “assistant property manager” she does not seem to take her authority and role seriously.

DO NOT RENT HERE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE MANAGEMENT IS NO GOOD. Emily only makes excuses for Jordan and does not take tenant...

Overall the vibe, appearance, and feel of the property is decent which is why I applied to rent with Emerson. The staff on the other hand, although responsive in a sense they’ll answer a phone, have been limited in help during the application process and post application. During the process, the customer service was sub par and even felt tired sometimes. Post app process following an unfortunate denial, I was told my admin fee would be refunded as a paper check that I could pick up from office or have sent to an address (I no longer resided at the one on file) and asked if it could be refunded and rerouted to a current address. After checking, the staff re-corrected themself and informed me they actually couldnt receive it at the office and that the check had already been sent/cut by the assistant manager and that it could not be rerouted since it comes from corporate. After just being told the assistant manager sent/cut the check. So then I asked for the number to corporate so I could attempt to have it rerouted prior to it hitting USPS I was told “no” and essentially I would have to wait for it to get returned to sender, etc. and go through a whole long process. Logistically speaking this didnt make sense as its very easy for a sender to re-route a letter/package so when I stated that, the response was “well it wont get done this week it would have to be next week.” At that point it was really clear the staff are tired and are not concerned with the big picture of customer support/retention, as I was looking to reapply for a later move-in date, etc. but now that’s not likely to occur due to this poor experience. Dont get me wrong since im changing careers, that left me in a tough position in terms of application process, proof of income, etc., which ultimately led to denial. But the post application process was a real turn off. Customer service shouldnt stop when your applicant is denied and you miss out commission, especially not when it’s other peoples refund/money involved and the potential future re-applicant is taking proactive resolution measures to prevent a super delayed/prolonged refund process from occurring. This whole series of events transpired on same business day I was notified of denial, so communications for the resolution could have been made rather timely.
