First let me start by saying I live in the sticks! I'm from the city and used to blazing fast, house on fire internet speeds. So, I don't expect the internet service out here to be anything like the city. I'll rate them honestly on three different points offering up to a 1 star pricing, up to 2 stars for customer service and up to 2 stars for reliability. So, here we go!!
Customer Service = 2 Stars out of possible 2 Stars I work in the sales industry and know how important customer service is. A customer should never feel like they are bothering you and you should always be quick to respond when they contact you. A poor product can become a great product when backed by great customer service. Paul and Cody def have a lot on their plate being only 2 guys running a company...that said they always respond to your concerns quickly. They may not be able to be at your home on a daily basis but always contact quickly via email and if needed will come to your house to resolve your issue. They are not perfect, but based on the manpower available to them, Paul and Cody do an excellent job. 2 Full Stars
Product Pricing = 1 Star out of possible 1 Star Simply put if you live in the city you will pay less. If you live in the sticks, your offerings often include satellite which is expensive, slow and has data limits. Spry offers a residential plans with promised speeds of 8 to 10mb for around $100 and it's unlimited! That's pretty good for a rural area. 1 Full Star
Reliability = 1.5 Stars out of possible 2 Stars Here is the meat and potatoes! In the end, does the product/service deliver on it's promise? First, I would say overall that it does, or atleast has the potential to. It's complicated and I'll explain why. Here is a list of the items that connect to the internet below and how well they work with the speeds provided:
24 Hue lights - the hue lighting system uses the wifi to control your lights automatically for things like automation and so forth. It has its own "hub" which lightens the load on your wifi in turn making it work flawlessly on Spry's network.
Xbox One S/PS4 Pro - Here is a big one! Online gaming!! So after a long day, I want to crack out on first person shooter! I have the enemy in my sights...I take my shot and bam!! Oh wait, where did he go, in fact, did I just time travel lol. LAG! listen lag happens, Paul is trying to fix it :) It doesn't happen all the time, but if this is the soul reason you want this service, you will want to make sure your connection is on point.
Amazon Echo/Alexa - The echo is an awesome device and works great with everything from streaming music to controlling your lights. 98% of the time she works great on the network. Only a couple times have I had an issue with disconnects. Overall super happy.
Smart TV - It is a little slower using Smart TV functions, but streams all services without a hitch. Once you fire up Netflix, HBO Now, etc, it runs pretty smoothly. You may have degraded video quality, but it generally plays fine.
Amazon Fire TV - This will cover any setup smart boxes like apple TV, roku etc...Spry internet tends to shine here! The Fire TV is one of the best Smart Boxes I've worked with. It loads and connects quickly. I was even able to watch Amazon Prime's 4K program with zero issues last night!
6 Netflix/Amazon Prime UHD/4K streaming - As I stated above, you can watch 4k UHD streaming on their service but I wouldn't rely on it all the time since 4K streaming requires a lot of bandwith. Everything else on these services will run great on spry's network, even during times of limited connection.
Cell Phones, IPADs - I have an Iphone 7 and it works pretty good, but when streaming music and watching video at certain times of the day, it can struggle. I mostly just leave my phone on LTE because I have unlimited and it's fast. Generally good. 1.5 Stars out of a possible 2 Stars
Paul is still working to improve the issues I currently have, and I will update this...
Read moreI had searched a very long time to find an internet company that would do what it said it would and be there for my family and I. After finding Spry Wireless, I feel like I've found a long lost friend. These guys are incredible! The company I had been using previously was constantly having issues and it got to the point where going with another company was my only choice.
Enter Spry Wireless. After reading the reviews, I was so impressed... but what really interested me the most....they tend to give real time updates whenever they are working on their system. You can go on Facebook and see what they are up to, and they're always improving their system.
I'm not sure who came up with the idea of posting notices on Facebook, but they are a genius! It makes you feel like Spry Wireless understands when we go through IWS - Internet Withdrawal Syndrome. You know the feeling ? Sweaty palms, nervous fidgeting and pacing around the room wondering what could be causing the issues. But no worries, with Spry Wireless, they get to the bottom of the problem. From Cody, to Paul and Ricky, these guys got your back.
As someone who works in the tech field, I know what it is like to find people like these who are not only professional, but they very understanding and they really care about the job and quality that they do. If my wife and I ever have a son, we'll probably call him Ricky Paul because those two guys have saved us from Neanderthal internet forever. I told my wife last night, that I feel spoiled and I can't stop smiling. Trust me, these guys are the best of the best!
I am not sure who the owner is, but he struck gold here, every single person I have dealt with at Spry is fantastic, from Cody answering questions, to Paul examining the tech aspects, to Ricky's awesome expertise in installing the gear and to their payment department and their staff. If you want to live in the 21st Century and have great speeds, you should go with...

The internet has worked as promised, all devices hooked up, all is great.
The only problem I has was with Blink Cameras. Blink said it was the internet provider. 3 times. After several emails with both Blink and Spry, I received a phone call from the owner of Spry (Paul) that he and his lead tech (Shawn) would like to come over and see how we can resolve the problem.
After working all day, both men arrived, spent an hour ensuring the problem was not the provider, instead the router (which I purchased on Amazon) and all was corrected. This is at 630 pm on a Thursday night, which is something I've not seen a company provide in forever.
I am very glad I chose Spry wireless and look forward to a long lasting relationship
Speeds are at or above promised.
We live in an RV park across from a huge subdivision. We chose Tmobile home internet because we thought it was the only option. After months of changing modem, speaking with countless "tech support specialists", we finally spoke to one who told us what the problem was. Tmobile "de-prioritized" us for the customers across the street and the only way to correct it was for Tmobile to put up another tower.
We were lucky to find this company, so lucky in fact I asked them to place a sign in my yard because there are MANY people here that work from home and struggle with wifi. Thanks a million you guys. Much...
