I debated posting this but honestly trying to get appointments set was just an all around weird? experience. I tried booking boarding 4 months in advance, with a short daycare appointment a week or two after booking just to see if he did well in that environment. When I submitted the online booking it was late night so I intended to upload his vet information when I got the chance to reach out to his primary and get copies of his vax records. I got an email the next day saying my boarding was rejected because they were fully booked on that day. Called to get my deposit back and the gentleman on the phone was incredibly off-putting and was very strongly implying my dog must not be vaccinated because I hadn’t uploaded paperwork right away, and that’s why it was rejected, despite the email I received only saying they were booked. I didn’t receive any other correspondence otherwise. I tried explaining this, and that I was at work so I just needed time to actually talk to his vet, and he was talking over me and wouldn’t actually listen to anything I told him. I pride myself on never raising my voice or being rude to those working in hospitality so no, there was no Karen-ing going on. Ended up canceling all together because of that experience and went to a different boarding facility. Just all around put a bad taste...

I love this place, this is the old Derrickson Kennels. The new owners Al and his wife have made major changes to this place and keep improving it all the time. This is a very nice place and is very very clean. They are super good with the dogs. I had my dog groomed twice there by Marilyn the groomer. She is one of the best groomers I have ever used in Buffalo . My dog is not scared go to this place she actually loves going there, they spend a lot of time and attention with her while she's there. Again I highly recommend this place best kennel ever!!!! So if you want your dog safe and no worries you need to go check it out! This is not the old nasty stinky place with pooped filled kennels it used to be anymore!!!! The new owners have made this place a 5 star motel for your dog and great prices too. Thanks...

Ruffin inn has been absolutely amazing with their customer service and the way they treat all dogs. I feel so relieved to know my dog is in good hands when dropping him off for daycare. I recently rescued my dog and he has some troubles with wanting to barge through doors to see what everyone is doing. Bringing him home today I got a detailed report on how his day was for being in their hands for the first time. The 2 hour nap time definitely helps for Koden as sometimes he just needs a break or needs a power nap. I have never seen him this tuckered out after a long day of playing which brings me so much joy knowing he was playing with all of his friends with great supervision by staff. Highly recommend to any new customers as they are truly put in the time and effort to make sure your dog is comfortable...
