First and last time we will visit. The petting zoo literally made me sick to my stomach. Children where allowed to snatch up and mishandle baby ducks along with the chickens. The chickens were so scared they where jumping onto peoples shoulders just to get away from kids that are chasing them, throwing them in the air to let them fly, snatching them up by there legs, necks, wings and every other way they could possibly grab them. The baby cows just laid there and looked so miserable that I thought they were laying there dead. The 3 workers that were in there didn't do or say anything they just let it happen. Wide variety of activities and rides for kids (I.e. Corn Maze, pony rides, Barack rides, and a bouce house and inflatable slide just to name a few), also have concession stand with a wider variety of snacks than I had expected and plenty of parking. The only downfall was difficulty pushing my sons wheelchair around and overall lack of activities he could participate in. But the âgoat milkingâ station just had a sad-looking goat chained up to a table for people, and the petting zoo had no one attending to it, so parents were allowing their children to pick up and terrorize these poor animals inside of their pens. It seemed pretty clear that no one should be inside the goat pens, and yet parents and children got inside of it by pushing the gates aside the whole thing left me feeling appalled- please get a petting zoo attendant at least on weekends so that your animals arenât...
