I really hate to give a bad review. Let me start with the good.
This park is well off of HWY 281 and easy to get in and out of. Pull throughs are long as are the back ins. The managers were very nice. If you want a CG off the beaten path that is quiet then I think this could be something that could work for you.
The Not So Good...
Very dusty road from the highway back to the sites. The pull through we chose for our 43' MH with toad was not very level. When we leveled the coach, the back right wheels came well off the ground and the left side barely made contact. We did consider picking a new spot or repositioning but...now the HORRIBLE
Unless you stayed on the gravel roads the sand burrs were HORRIBLE. We walked our 2 Germans Shepherd Dogs for about 2 minutes and they were so bad! We removed dozens of them from the paws and our socks. One of our guys started bleeding a bit from them.
We went back to the office and told them we just couldn't stay. The managers were very understanding and refunded us our money without any hesitation. They really were nice and I wish it would have worked out. If they hadn't been so nice I would have given this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe good first: It's a nice park with wide, level spaces that can accommodate any size rig. The rates are great for weekly or monthly. It's clean with some full time monthly occupants.
The negative feedback is the sewer placement is not in a good location at the sites without having to buy longer hoses. Grounds are full of stickers. Other BIG negative is, they allow smoking in the public building where you do laundry and take showers/use restrooms.
So, for the price for the week it was fine but when we return for another extended visit we will stay else where. I could deal with sewer location & stickers but have to draw the line with the smoking in the common area that is used by ALL campers. At the time of this review the Smith's were no longer there managing the park. The park is under new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI highly recommend Bent Tree RV Ranch. We stayed here for over a month and absolutely loved it! The owners are so courteous and really try to make you feel at home. They recently came under new ownership and are working very hard to create an amazing experience for their guests. They told us they are building tiny homes soon that they will be renting out long term and even putting in tree houses for overnight rentals! The Ranch is the real Texas hill country experience, everything is clean, well maintained and any questions you have are immediately addressed by staff. They really made us feel at home and we were sad we had to leave! If you are looking for a safe, clean, friendly place to stay this is by far...
