The big terrain park "Railyard" has been left empty since 2019. It took them until February to carve the halfpipe this season. They set a rainbow box that drops to flat and is not even level. They don't ever update their terrain parks which is the only reason I snowboard. They need to hire someone who is experienced with building parks, the current park crew clearly has no idea what they are doing. I wish I could get refunded $480.00 for my season pass, this was the worst season ever they didn't do anything all season long. Next season I will be giving my money to Hyland Hills in Bloomington. I've been riding Buck Hill for over 15 years but they are slowly going downhill. Since 2018 each season things get worse, it's like they don't even care about their riders who are out their 6 days a week. Listen to the community Buck Hill management! Hyland does and look how popular Hyland has been getting only because they actually listen to their riders and they want their riders happy! Everyone that used to go to Buck Hill for years and years is moving to Hyland now only because you guys don't care about your parks. You guys don't even reply on social media comments, Hyland is going to take all of your riders come the 2022-2023 ski/snowboard season. I'll buy a pass with a resort that has management/employees who care about their jobs and want their riders happy! What a waste of another season, I had high hopes with all those buildings you guys constructed over the summer but it clearly didn't improve your terrain parks! Waste of time and money in my opinion, you guys are loosing business quick! I'll make the longer drive each day to Hyland Hills in Bloomington next season. So sad to see my childhood resort go...

Buck Hill provides an exceptional community environment and is very welcoming for group and family outings. I recommend buying your tickets on line and printing them at home before you come if you want to avoid the line for purchasing tickets onsite. The Google Knowledge Graph for Buck Hill shows you the most popular times that people go.

So if you also want to avoid potentially long lines at the top of the hill, plan your visit during low peak times. Once a person advances in their skiing skills, they often look for steeper hills; but it's sufficiently steep to enjoy real turns.

This hill is easy to reach for most any Twin Cities residents and lets many younger skiers learn how to downhill ski safely and enjoy the thrill of it. The hill has hosted great skiers over many years. Buck Hill owners’ investment in the Neveplast system extends the skiing season. Many members of my family really love it and are glad for more days to be out at Buck Hill.

It is a fantastic New Years Eve outing. It works a bit like an event center. Like before COVID-19, the Midwest Mytham band was very entertaining and people so enjoyed it that they got up and danced around. The combination of great live music songs and views of the ski slope really made that night. Buck Hill topped it off with a 20-30mins fireworks display at midnight.

For local residents and even people driving by, the nights lights from Buck Hill can be spectacular.

People can also purchase seasonal passes and there is generous parking space. You can keep cost down by taking advantage of lift ticket deals. If you live in the metro and haven’t tried Buck Hill for a fun MN winter sport, I highly...

From the moment we made our phone call until we took back our rental gear, those employees of Buck Hill did everything in their power to ensure a great experience. Josh in rentals - you were incredibly patient with the extremely large crowd you were accommodating. You took the time with everyone you worked with to ensure a proper fit. Tylee in private lessons 1st hour - you were incredibly patient with all of us given our different levels of experience. We all enjoyed your lessons and advice. Gary in private lessons 2nd hour - you also were incredibly patient with the variety of levels and offered great tutorials which enabled us to further enjoy our time spent on the slopes during lessons as well as after. Buck Hill accommodated every aspect of our experience. At the end, we enjoyed food, beverage, and live music. Buck Hill was extremely busy when we went however we followed their online directions and came prepared per their instructions via their website. Every employee remained calm amongst the crowds, patient, and accommodating; ensuring everyone received the experience they paid for. Very family friendly!!! What a great introduction to the world of downhill skiing. Thank you! ...

Was attending the Nordic Mid Summer Event. With Authentic Swedish, Denmark, Norwegian, and Viking Encampment, with axe and swordfighting, historically correct Tents, how the cooked, worked with tools, made things. Viking Ship on Premises too. Crafts, an kid friendly, Wonderful Band of the "Harp Twins", REAL Viking Mood, an many were dressed with axes and horn cups. Like a small Renaissance Festival. Authentic wears, and items created by on site craft people. Jewelry, hat, scarves, honey, wine, beautiful old country carvings, and traditional things. Loved Dressing up for it, with my Good Mates~We're All From, the Renaissance Festival, so THIS, was an Excellent Time! Live action Viking Battles, you learn a thing or two! Fabulous Entertainment for the Whole Family! Highly recommended! For the Taste of the Old Country, and Ways!
