I was looking to have my 6/7 year old all-in-one computer ‘cleaned up’. It was running super slow. I was nervous to have this done and was putting it off for close to 6 months. I even considered just buying a new computer. I called a few places before finding Jon at Custom PC Solutions. Jon spent 26 minutes on the phone with me answering all of my questions and concerns. My greatest concern was someone poking around my computer at my personal stuff. Jon assured me that just like you’d trust a lawyer, you’d have to trust your computer guy. And I felt like I could trust him. He’s been doing this for almost 20 years with loyal customers, so I took the chance having Jon ‘clean up’ my computer. The drop off/scheduling was easier than easy. He already told me he works from his home office so I expected to pull up to a house. I called when I was outside and he met me at the door. He told me about 48 hours and my computer would be ready. Which was about 5 days sooner than the other places. The next day he called, I thought it was just a question but he told me my computer was done and should be muuuuch faster now. I picked it up, paid half as much as the other guys wanted and it took half as long. I got home, plugged it in, clicked around and was shocked. Its SO MUCH FASTER. Pictures don’t take 30 seconds to open anymore, clicking within files doesn’t take but a second. I’m actually shocked on how fast it is and the computer actually moves faster than what my hand does. Jon has helped us a few times in the last several years with a cell phone, laptop and desktop computer. Most recently, he helped us replace our very old desktop computer and peripherals. We have always found him to be very expert, yet quite personable and down-to-earth. He has helped us find ways to save money on unnecessary software and hardware. This last time, after having a conversation with him about our computing needs, we had the confidence and trust to have him go select and buy what we needed and install it. We didn't have to deal with any computer store sales people. He bought us exactly what we needed and nothing else. He came to our home, installed everything, got it all running beautifully, gave us a thorough tutorial and answered all our questions.
