I used to work this store and sold them a lot of furniture over the years. When I first started traveling and selling Action Lane Recliners and Virginia House Dining Room Furniture and Rocking Chairs back in the mid 70’s, my Dad Ben Williams always carried me by there and introduced me to Mr Whitson. Jane and the generational kindness that is rooted here is something from another world. Somehow everything you need is here, nothing that you don’t, lots of genuine advice. The garden Jane maintains is beautiful and flourishing, the bit of “stuff” on the other side of the road is not collapsing into the river, so don’t worry about that.
