I can't speak for the place as a whole, only the artist Jonah. I don't like to write bad about anyone and I'm not but I need to share my experience. First tattoo I got with him, was wonderful and turned out beautiful. The following year, I wanted to get another. A very important one to me as it was to be my first arm tattoo. I explained in great detail what I wanted, sent reference photos and paid my deposit. He read it within the hour, and never replied. Never even a confirmation or questions to clarify the design idea. Day of my appt, he messages to ask if I can come an hour later. Weird but okay. I show up and he shows me the design. It was NO WHERE near what I asked for. His whole demeanor changed. He started saying things like "I'm a selfish artist who only likes to do the art I want, my brain stops working when someone doesnt like my sketch, and it hurts my soul when someone asks me to change my design I've worked so hard on". I felt so uncomfortable but I had already paid $100 and assumed he would be the type to fight on giving it back so I asked "are we good to do this today, are you okay" he replied "oh yeah, I'll figure it out". The studio this time around was gross. I could see someone's greasy body marks on the tattoo table and dust/grime covered all the items and widow seal. I also saw him put the needle in the gun without gloves on. I should have left. The tattoo I ended up with, I'm not happy. The words are very shaky and uneven, lines he put in some of the vines disappeared within the month. I reached out to him nicely and asked if we could work together to make it something better. He read my message, and never replied. The way he handled the whole situation start to finish is very unprofessional. I will never return nor give credit to the one good tattoo I do have from him. I paid nearly $600 for a sub-par tattoo that is visible to the world. Now I will find a new artist to fix the mess he...

Melissa is absolutely amazing! I have made her my exclusive artist! The shop always has this "cheers" vibe. As soon as I walk in, I feel right at home! It's always so laid back. Also, the shop is so clean and sanitized all the time!

Melissa has become more than just an artist, she is a friend. She goes above and beyond to accommodate different ideas and schedules and what not. I have never met another artist like her. I love how excited she gets before a tattoo. That makes me even more excited to get it! I've gotten two from her, so far. A spider and a tribute piece for my Mom and Dad. After seeing how my tribute piece turned out, now that it's healed, I can't imagine having it done by anyone else. I hope she stays in business forever, because I won't go to anybody...

Literally my forever and only tattoo artist. Melissa has done 4 of my 7 tattoos. The best human being I know - personable, respectful, outgoing, kindest, down to earth and overall just loving soul. Melissa always works around my schedule; has never refused any of the crazy appointment times Ive ask for (my job has the worst hours). Gets the job done, and gets it done in a reasonable about of time. Takes breaks if needed, always has snacks and drinks stocked up! Not to mention how clean this beautiful little shop is.
