Only place in Pa for Duck Pin Bowling!!!! The older gentleman that was working there was so kind and helpful. We ordered 2 drinks that came in 2 big cups, chicken wings that were awesome! I like wings that have a crisp to them and these were PERFECT! The grilled chicken salad was smaller than I expected but the chicken was juicy and they were not afraid to give us ample salad dressing. The French fries were the crinkly kind and they were so good, we got more. The first batch was an order of pizza fries and the 2nd just plain. We got there right when they opened so it was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the duck pin side alone. Our 4 year old was having a blast and will definitely want to come back because as he says, "Everyone loves bowling". We will look forward to a nice game of regular bowling in the future too. Very clean bowling alley and...
Read moreOther than comparatively inexpensive, I don't have much good to say about this bowling alley. We had two lanes. I'd estimate that we needed to get "the guy" to fix lane problems over ten times. Ball return stopped working. Pin set-up machine stopped working again and again. At one point the lane "broke" and we had to switch lanes. Fortunately, there was only one other group of bowlers, because they were having all the same problems as us. If it was busy, we wouldn't have been able to get any help.
Even when things were working, everything moved at a glacial pace. We resorted to using different balls for the 1st and 2nd ball of each turn. There was about a 30 second delay after the pins were set and the ball came back. It took two full hours to get through 2 games. And that was with 25% of our group bailing on the 2nd game because it was all so...
Read moreMy family and I came here on a Saturday afternoon to do some duckpin bowling specifically. We are avid ten pin bowlers but we do enjoy duckpin which is becoming more scarce to find. As a historian of the game I really enjoyed seeing the retro Brunswick Gold Crown masking units on the duckpin side with the original wood lanes still intact. The center is well maintained and it’s nice to have the option to do both forms of bowling if you’d like. There is a lot of room on the concourse behind the lanes which you don’t really see much these days. The staff was warm and inviting from start to finish. I actually rolled my highest game to date when I was there which was pretty neat! I’d highly recommend visiting this center when looking for some high value...
