Went 7-15-22. For a festival it was literally one large tent and a few pop-ups outside. For something named a "Pickle" festival it had one booth selling pickles. I love pickles and was hoping they would have all sorts of pickles, pickled items, things like pickles, etc.
My disappointment was immeasurable. They had around 8 food vendors behind the main tent and not a single one had a gimmick pickle item to try. The main tent had a booth selling Sechler's pickles but no misc pickled items.
We drove an hour and a half to this place and we went because Facebook and other places said Annual Pickle Festival and I assumed something that's annual has to be worth going to. Boy...
Read moreWe love the Pickle Fest!! It is the cutest small town festival. There are fun activities for kids, food vendors, and a parade. Our favorite activity is in the tent with the pickles. It is a booth full of a random hodgepodge of theift store finds. You give them cash and they give you dimes to toss at all the goodies. If your dime lands on something, you get to keep it! Drove 3 hours to a festival (found in the Indiana festival guide) that said it started on Thursday, thought that meant thursday morning. We got there about 11am to find out it did not start till 4pm.
