In July '17, I was involved a motorcycle accident and was airlifted to Bozeman. While I recovered, my bike was sent to storage in West Yellowstone, and when my insurance got involved, they sent it up to Butte, MT. My bike is a '16 CVO Ultra Limited, and I was more concerned about it than my own health, but I think that is common. I live near Salt Lake City, so when I was released, I went home, and my bike was now close to 400 miles away.
When I could, I talked with the dealer about my bike and my concerns. I wanted the CVO back and in prime condition. Copper Canyon understood my concerns and reassured me that the bike would be build like it was their own. Parts and paint for a CVO are always a concern. Working with insurance can also add time. It all did. It wasn't till after the snows fell in November, that the bike was ready, but I could not ride it back down, nor did I want a trailer to slide on the slippery roads. So, Copper Canyon Harley winterized and stored my bike till April.
When I arrived, I was greeted like a long lost friend. They showed me to my bike and then started delivery of the bike like I had bought a brand new one. And It looked great. They even stored my trailer overnight so we could load it the next day without the concern of having a bike on a trailer at a motel. The next day, I was greeted again, my bike was delivered, pegs were adjusted, the bike had been washed and they even helped load the trailer. I could not believe the kind of customer service I received. Bonus points guys, Bonus points.
I have dealers around were I live, most are mega dealers, but of all the ones I have been. This and a dealer in Woodstock, IL are certainly the best. Copper Canyon is small by comparison to most shops. Small number on new bikes, basic shop, and storage area. But, don't let size fool you, the expert craftsmanship on getting my bike on the road again is miraculous.
The bike does not have a scratch on it. It looks as good as it did brand new, I cannot find flaw or blemish on the bike and would have seen it as I have washed and waxed it since picking it up. The bike handles and fits as it had before. But I have not had the opportunity to check out the infotainment system of GPS, XM and CB.
All in All I am very happy with the service that was rendered to me from Curtis and Cody, along with the technical staff that built with care my bike. You literally brought it back from the dead. Thank you for placing me back in the wind and hopefully not to see wildlife up so close again.
This is a dealer I will go out of my way to visit the next time through to Yellowstone, or Glacier NP. I cannot recommend them more. Please patronize the dealers that seem to still place the customer first. These shops unfortunately are few and...

On my way home through MT after two weeks on the road I ended up in Butte MT with a nail jammed through the tread and out through what seemed to be the sidewall. It was 4pm, one hour before close, no compressor, and tire pressure still looked good. I called these guys asking them to bring it in so I wouldn't wake up with a flat figuring the 1 mile from my hotel to their shop would be OK. They said bring it in, we have the tire you need.
Long story short, though I had my stuff to do my service on the road, I figured what the heck have them do the service too. Well, I came back to get the bike the next day to the great news that the angle of the nail was through the tread and not QUITE the sidewall and had not done damage. They DID NOT sell me a tire they did not need.
Further (and most important) my bike had been spewing too much oil out the breathers bugging me. No, I hadn't been lugging and kept the oil mid dip-stick...well, two other dealers blamed me THIS DEALER FOUND THE PROBLEM- a breather bolt problem. NO MORE OIL drizzling all over the side of my bike!
Lastly, a week of road grime and dirt following a wet ride and that bike was Spotless when they gave it back. Their guy (awesome dude) got in there and scrubbed it by hand, all this with a service that cost $75 less than my home dealer.
There was other good stuff but the review is too long already! They also sponsored a bike night event downtown for their community that night....
Read moreBought a used bike from them, began having electrical issues with it. Only had the bike maybe a month put less than a thousand miles on it, ECU went out. Contacted them, brought it to them to repair, and they were having issues finding an ECU. Started talking to them about just giving the bike back, wiping the slate clean and buying a new bike from them. Was told they wouldn’t give me what I owed on the bike, but would be given “fair trade in”. In the mean time by the time I got the bike back, it had been in their shop longer than I owned the bike. I had to call on updates weekly as nobody in the place would call me to keep me informed! When I finally got the bike back it didn’t have the correct ECU, the original electrical problems I had complained about other than the ECU were not fixed and two weeks later it started acting up AGAIN with OTHER electrical issues! Sure they paid for the ECU as they should have, HOWEVER all they did was put a bandaid on the problem and did not fix it correctly as they should have! DO NOT waist your time or money with this dealership they are a joke and a rip off! I took my business elsewhere and was lucky to get out of the lemon they sold me! I wouldn’t so much as stop in this place to use the bathroom, I’ll piss my pants before I ever step foot back...
