Cypress Creek Golf Club — Local services in Cabot

This course is beautiful. Ricky and his staff take great care of it. At 7300 yards from the tips, it has plenty of length for the big hitters but plenty of distance options for everyone else. The fairways are pretty wide for the most part and the greens are smooth and fast. The rough gets pretty thick in the summer so do your best to avoid it if possible. There is also plenty of water which adds to the beauty but also the challenge. There is a nice (but short) driving range so no drivers allowed, and a big putting green to work on your short game at. The golf pros (Tommy Rutherford and Jordan Shields) are available for all your instruction need to fine tune your game. The staff in the pro shop are very friendly and welcoming and it has a pretty good assortment of clothing, balls, and other necessities. They offer a limited selection of snacks and a nice selection of beverages to keep you hydrated out there. There is also an event venue available that overlooks the picturesque 18th green. A great course, nice staff, beautiful lines of sight from the hills on the tee boxes.

Well maintained everything, very few places where the ball is supposed to go that isn't in fantastic condition.

Recently aerated sections have all shown good regrowth and greens are very well trimmed. Cup placements are challenging even though the greens are massive targets.

Plenty of refreshed balls to buy in the shop, and a nice view from the overlook building if you rent the venue.

Negatives** I wouldn't mind seeing the club get a full time kitchen and an upgraded Pro Shop. The range is too short for anyone who can press 280 with a driver. Limited parking on a busy day is definitely an issue as well.

Summary** Worthy of the $$, just wish it offered more, I would love to finish this course with a19th hole they just don't have right now.

Yesterday was my first time golfing here. I was thoroughly pleased with my overall experience. I’m sorry I don’t know your names but the lady and the gentleman that work there were absolutely welcoming to my wife and myself. They had a scramble going on accross the front 9 that they invited me to play (although I’m out of practice and respectively declined) but they never stopped being great host to us while trying to get their scramble going. The people I met there set the whole experience over the top, truly nice people. And for it to be so early in the year the course was very well maintained.
