I went into the store on 5/14/2021 to transfer services from Verizon Wireless to Metro on FOUR phones. The guy charged me for activation fees of $23.00 PER phone and attempted to charge $15.00 for a sim card PER phone. I questioned why it was $15.00 for a sim card when it was $10.00 online. He agree'd then to charge me $10.00. Upon leaving the store I did not feel as if I was charged correctly. I contacted customer support and spoke with a supervisor and they put in a request for call back from corporate. I called Fairview Heights location to discuss what they would have charged me and they said if I brought my own phone there is no activation fee when switching. I went back up to the store and the little short man with dark brown hair refused to speak with me about the activation fees of which he had the girl charge me. THAT TELLS YOU RIGHT THERE WHAT HE HAS BEEN DOING TO CUSTOMERS! The girl just got an attitude (LOL) and refunded me the activation fee.
8:30 p.m. the same night I received a call from corporate (Stephanie) apologizing and after explaining the issue again she immediately said when you bring your own phone and transfer service over there is no activation fees and currently there is a promotion for a REBATE of the price of the sim cards. Stephanie double checked to see if that promotion was applied and to no surprise it wasn't. So, Stephanie applied the rebate for the sim cards and I will see this reflected on my next bill. In addition, she explained to me that my bill will now be $100.00 a month for my four lines instead of $120.00 :). Lastly, she corrected my security questions and account pin of which I was never asked upon being a new customer. Stephanie said she put my complaint into the regional director that's over the local store. DO NOT LET THEM OVER CHARGE...

The face recognition wasn’t working because the screen was wrong and it shut off as soon as I pulled off the lot. Same thing it was doing when I brought them the phone. And the phone was hot. I brought it back to let him know it was doing the same thing. Every time I returned ro get the phone after that there was an excuse. Until the last day I went and the phone was pulled apart. Literally in pieces. I just took the phone as is. I felt he didn’t know what he was doing. Which should have been said instead of taking my money. Stop doing business with these people. You’re a liar. You never offered me a refund. I came ready to pay the additional $30 for the charger port but you never put it on there. Liar. You’re scam. I only got my refund because I disputed it with my bank. I paid for a service I didn’t receive....
