
Was not a fan of SEV due to their poor communication skills. They are too busy for their own good and unfortunately I suffered the consequences due to the lack of communication. Itās so hard to get a hold of someone and when you do theyāre rushing to get off the phone with you. Firstly, I havenāt done laser before and did my research and saw that SEV was the place to go! I did not know we were not supposed to use retinol and I had used one drop for the first time ever two days prior to the appointment and the NP didnāt clear me because of course this is not something you do if you want to avoid rashes and what not. The NP was passive aggressive, rushed, and acted like she couldnāt even bother speaking to me. She was literally reading off a questionnaire and it was so unprofessional at one point I really questioned if she was even a nurse at all let alone an NP. Anyway, I was never communicated that I could not use retinol, I guess itās expected you know this...I already paid for full body so I could not even cancel or I would lose my money and appointment and in order to do my face and neck I have to rebook and pay for that separately. When I asked the front desk about this she told me that unfortunately I have to pay for full body and reschedule and pay for my face as well (nevermind The fact I did not do my back or partial abdomen area). Itās crazy how inconsiderate they are as I waited so long to get an appointment. I work 48 hours a week and of all parts I wanted to do my face and neck the most.. I drove an hour for my appointment. Now I have to find a day I am off and look for another place to do my laser at that hopefully will not see me as a dollar sign and another number. I was nervous after reading a couple reviews saying that the receptionist was rude and that they don't treat Groupon customers as well as normal paying customers but that wasn't true at all!!! The receptionist was EXTREMELY NICE!! She made me feel so comfortable and welcome and didn't push any products or services on to me unless I brought it up first, and even then she wasn't pushy at all. The laser tech was a little more shy but still super sweet and answered all of my questions. I was in and out in about ten minutes! The receptionist even scheduled me 4 sessions in advance which I would recommend because they get booked fast.
It was a little hard finding the place because there weren't any signs guiding me and I did turn into the wrong parking area the first time but I think it'll be better next time I go since I know where it is, so make sure you follow your GPS!! The parking lot is also really small so I'd recommend going early so there won't be a lot of cars.
If you're wondering if the laser treatment is painful, don't worry! It did hurt, but nothing you can't handle. It's so fast that it didn't bother me. The laser tech told me I could take a break if needed, and right before I was going to ask for a break, she told me we were already done! It feels like someone is plucking hairs but more like one hair per section that she lasers. The laser is pretty big so there aren't a lot of sections she needed to do which means not a lot of pain. If you were doing a bigger area you might need a break or two, just remember to take deep breaths.
All together, such a good price and the customer service was amazing! I definitely recommend...

Iām so happy I found SEV. I had almost given up on laser treatments, but between the fair pricing and the friendly staff, Iām genuinely so much happier here.
I previously went to LaserAway, and between their ridiculously high prices (that practically require a payment plan for anyone with an average income) and the constant ādealā and āsaleā emails, it was already off-putting. Then, during my second or third treatment, I asked the technician if it was normal to have redness for a few days afterward, since I was new to laser hair removal. She responded with a bit of attitude and said she could lower the temperature.
Apparently, instead of increasing the level over the next few treatments (as itās normally done), I was kept at that lower settingāwith no explanation that it would slow my results. I wouldnāt have even known this if I hadnāt gone to a different location, where a much nicer technician reviewed my chart and explained everything to me.
Even though that second location was more pleasant, I was extremely frustrated to find out that Iād have to purchase more sessions when I hadnāt even finished paying off the original package. It made the whole experience unnecessarily complicated. I ended up leaving one session unused and switched back to sugar waxing for a while.
