They are affiliated with the Mormon church. In years past they've been very good about selling to the public. However starting in 2025. They will no longer seal to the general public. And to buy anything you will have to have a business license and buy their fruit in allotments the size of a bin. I think that's about 300 lb.
I asked why the change in policy and they won't sell to the general public anymore. I was told because they wanted to have more control over their fruit and who was buying it and what they did with it.
The staff is not at all friendly. The old management was nothing great. The new management is even worse.
I personally used to buy large volumes of sweet from them. I kept some for my wife and I. The rest I gave to people in my neighborhood that I know were in need of food. I guess I won't be able to do that anymore. However Caldwell Orchard gets to control their fruit now.
