June 21st I went in to purchase some items. I was informed that it is first 24h free parking and $15 afterwards. I was having a particularly bad day and forgot to get my receipt. I called the store at around 4am June 22nd so that I could ask if it was OK to show my bank statement to them as proof I had made a minimum $15 purchase. Before I even got to fully explain that I just needed to make sure they knew so I wouldn't get woken up later; the guy immediately started being extremely rude and kept repeating "I don't have time to be looking through all the purchases". I kept trying to explain that I understand he can't do that, and that isn't what I needed either. He also kept repeating like a broken record "I need a specific time" even though I informed him multiple times that I did not know the exact time I made the purchase. I also informed him that even though I did not know the exact time, the bank statement still displayed the date of the purchase. I got frustrated and said "man im just trying to ask if I can show you the date of the statement as proof". His reply was "you can get frustrated all you want but I can't help you". Eventually, when the fool decided to actually listen to me, he said "oh, thats all you wanted?" when I told him I just wanted to show proof for the parking. Maybe if he hadn't immediately started being rude and assuming I was demanding my receipt back, I would have been able to explain that earlier. The guy did not have the decency to at least offer a simple apology at the end for his rudeness after he realized he was wrong. He just said "yeah man you're good no one's gonna knock on your door". We all have bad days, but if you hate customers so much because they're so annoying, then maybe get a job that isn't retail? I always avoid disturbing retail workers as much as possible since I am aware that there is a lot of bad customers. I shouldn't have received that treatment, and if at the very least he had apologized like a man at the end, I would not have left...
